Tematyka artykułu dotyczy zakresu stosowania technologii internetowych w procesie usługowym. Autorka omawia zmiany w sposobach kontaktu firmy z klientem, które nastąpiły w wyniku rozwoju internetowych form sprzedaży usług, obsługi klienta „na odległość” oraz rozwoju narzędzi komunikacji w Internecie. Analiza dostępnych wyników badań wtórnych posłużyła określeniu stanu „równowagi sił” między dostawcami a użytkownikami usług w wyniku rozwoju samoobsługi i ograniczenia osobistych kontaktów z usługodawcami w procesie usługowym w warunkach ekspansji technologii internetowej.

This article concerns the range of Internet technologies in the service process. The author discusses the changes in the form of contact between the client and the company, which occurred as a result of the development of electronic means for the sale of services, customer service "at a distance" and the development of communication tools on the Internet. Analysis of the available secondary research results used to determine the state of "balance of power" between service providers and service users as a result of the development of self-service and restrictions of personal contacts with service providers in the service process.

As Supply Chain Transparency is a key success factor for effective Supply Chain Event Management (SCEM), many companies want to track & trace their individual orders. A new SCEM concept uses proven internet-based technologies and the Global Positioning System (GPS) on smartphones to overcome given media breaks of proprietory IT systems and addresses existing obstacles, especially in the fields of intermodal transports. With the integration of common smartphone technologies and transformation of social network principles into the professional field of logistics, a state-of-the-art toolkit is being developed for complex supply networks. Researched benefits result in a quick and interactive information flow with regards to the transparency of transports and shipped items. Gathered information can be published quickly to all relevant stakeholders in real time (like the sender, the shipper or the receiver of a load).

Zleceniodawcy coraz częściej wymagają od transportu dużej elastyczności, szybkości działania, a także kompleksowej obsługi związanej z przewozem każdej ilości towaru o zróżnicowanych gabarytach, z i do różnych krajów, poprzez odprawę celną, magazynowanie oraz dystrybucję przesyłek. Spełnienie tych wymagań uzależnione jest od kompleksowej informacji o zachodzących procesach transportowych i ich racjonalnym planowaniu. Przewoźnicy, podobnie jak inne podmioty gospodarcze, mają określone potrzeby informacyjne. Zaspokojenie tych potrzeb jest niezbędne do prawidłowego funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstwa i zarządzania nim. Odpowiednie informacje umożliwiają bowiem nie tylko rozwiązywanie bieżących problemów, ale także wytyczanie zamierzeń i określanie przyszłej strategii przedsiębiorstwa. Pomocne w tych zamierzeniach są dostępne narzędzia informatyczne i technologie internetowe.

Customers more and more often require transport to be very flexible, fast, and complex in terms of carrying every quantity of goods of different sizes, from and to different countries, through customs clearance, storing and distribution of shipments. Meeting these requirements depends on complex information on transport processes and their rational planning. Transport operators, similarly to other business entities, need certain information. Providing the information is necessary for the company to perform properly and to be properly managed. Appropriate information allows not only to solve current issues, but also define plans and future strategies. Computer tools and Internet technologies are very helpful in accomplishing those plans.

Gwałtowny postęp w rozwoju technologii informatycznych, globalizacja działań i bardziej wymagający klienci wytyczają nowe drogi prowadzenia biznesu. W coraz złożonym, globalnym środowisku transoportowym, efektywna współpraca z partnerami w ramach sieci, podejmowanie na czas opłacalnych decyzji oraz spełnianie wymagań klientów stają się priorytetem. Praca przedsiębiorstwa świadczącego współcześnie usługi transportowe musi być już nie tyle zarządzana sprawna, co przede wszystkim zarządzana optymalnie. Usprawnienie i przyśpieszenie obsługi rejestracji przesyłek, minimalizacja błędów, ograniczenie kosztów, zwiększenie efektywności i konkurencyjności - to jedne z najistotniejszych celów, jakie stoją przed przedsiębiorstwami branży TSL. Nieodzownym wsparciem w ich realizacji są zaawansowane i sprawdzone rozwiązania informatyczne. I znów podobnie, jak w innych dziedzinach logistyki nie sposób nad tym wszystkim zapanować bez sprawnego, nowoczesnego narzędzia informatycznego.

Rapid technological advancements observed in banking sector results from strong competition, which is intensified by globalization process and on the other hand due to diffusion process of the latest IT technology achievements in this sector. Internet technology changed the terms and conditions of providing banking activity. There are some differences regarding development of Internet banking in the world. A framework of Internet banking adoption developed in many countries (e.g. US, Singapore, UK, Scandinavian countries, Poland) identified national environment, government ICT policy and some socio-economic conditions having an influence on diffusion of Internet banking. The latest observations confirmed that there are some barriers which stand in the way of diffusion of Internet banking. The aim of this article is to show some of the environmental obstacles. The terms and conditions created mainly by macro and microeconomic environment, some sociological and law factors have a primary implications for proper diffusion of Internet technology in banks and other institutions, which lead to establish bases of Information Society.

The paper contains the information about the newest internet technology, that is indented to change in the short time an existing www by the www of next generation. The problems regarding information founding and integration will be highlighted. Also will be shown the possibilities of elimination those problems using the semantic networks. In the paper, remote monitoring and remote configuration system of PM dosimeter gates, installed on RP cross-border is presented. The solution outlined in the paper is based on fini Embedded WWW Serwer. Hardware, sou ware environment and protocol stack of Embedded WWW Servers are described. Methods of Embedded WWW Server software modification and TCP/IP protocol parameters settings are shown. The logical structure of the Border Guard computer system integrated with dosimeter gates remote monitoring and configuration system is presented.

Since supply chains are mainly supported by software solutions (for instance ERP), SMEs must be able to use and implement a solution themselves. Because they don't have the required capital and IT that enables it, they will fall out of the Supply Chains. The solution to this problem is just the ASP.

In the paper, current trends in architecture of industrial computer networks, which cover measurement - control communication level and factory communication, are outlined. Discussion of Ethernet basic communication features and influence of Industrial Ethernet on creating factory information structure are presented.
