Nie zgadzają się z poglądami, że biznes lub przedsiębiorczość mają swoją psychologię. Ta ostatnia jest właściwa tylko ludziom i ludziom w działaniu np. kierowniczym/ sprawczym. Artykuł oparty jest w dużej mierze na międzynarodowych osiągnięciach z omawianego zagadnienia.

The authors, in the context of general economic considerations present in the article their opinions about psychology in business management; small, medium and large ones. They clearly distinguish psychology in general aspect from psychology in managing business and entrepreneurship. They also present the content of business and entrepreneurship. They disagree with the opinion that business or entrepreneurship has its own psychology. The last one is appropriate only to people and people in their actions, e.g. management / causation. The article is based largely on international achievements in discussed issues.

Vampire, werewolf or zombie are individuals more and more often met in horrors. Since their existence seems to break down all rules of science literature experts consider them exclusively as metaphor of human anxiety towards unknown and incomprehensible and unexplored issues. Such a definition of these monsters is well acknowledged in literature and cinematography. However, this seems not to be fully true because there exist some rationales and some proofs that these mystic characters might be seen in reality.

Artykuł jest analizą tekstów wspomnieniowych Piotra Zaremby – urbanisty, pisarza, pierwszego prezydenta polskiego Szczecina w latach 1945–1950. Zaremba, jako architekt i polityk, nie tylko miał wpływ na odbudowę miasta po wojnie, ale także przyczynił się do kształtowania tożsamości mieszkańców. Działalność Zaremby – polityczna i pamiętnikarska – miała przy tym wymiar europejski: był poliglotą i sprawnym dyplomatą, który często podróżował po Starym Kontynencie.

The article analyses the memoires of Piotr Zaremba – an urbanist, a writer, the first president of the Polish Szczecin in 1945–1950. Being both an architect and a politician, Zaremba not only had an impact on the reconstruction of the city after the war, but also contributed to shaping the identity of the city residents. Zaremba's activity – political and memoirist one – was of European dimension: he was a polyglot and an efficient diplomat who often travelled the Old Continent.

Porównano cechy społecznodemograficzne uczestników dwóch Oficjalnych Programów Wolontariatu UEFA EURO 2012™ pracujących w Poznaniu. Artykuł w szerszym świetle przedstawia możliwości wykorzystania wolontariuszy podczas masowych imprez sportowych oraz jaką grupę społeczną tworzyły osoby nieodpłatnie pracujące w Poznaniu.

Nowadays volunteers are a permanent element of sport competitions around the world. In the article authors described functions performed by the volunteers working during UEFA EURO 2012™ in Poznan which were associated with the transport of merchandises, people and organizing matches. The sociodemographic status of volunteers working in the two Official UEFA EURO 2012™ Programs of Voluntary Work were described. In a broad sense, article shows numerous possibilities of employing volunteers for sport competitions.

Modern companies can be characterized including several indicators such as number of employees, yearly profit or inventory turnover. Literature relates to new classifier factor, which is maturity level. It describes correctness of allocation available resources in stable processes, which can be measured. Maturity measurements require the process approach conception. Many companies are considered about its utility and efficiency. It function is to find relations between all processes, their meaning and correct management. This article will contain comparison of several models of maturity in purpose to find commons and differences between them. Paper includes literature review in the range of suggested maturity models, which will be source of information for the final comparison.

Współczesne przedsiębiorstwa mogą zostać scharakteryzowane za pomocą szeregu kryteriów, takich jak liczba pracowników, roczne obroty finansowe lub wskaźnika rotacji zapasów. Literatura opisuje nowy czynnik klasyfikujący, którym jest poziom dojrzałości przedsiębiorstwa. Opisuje on prawidłowość wykorzystania zasobów w stałych procesach, co pozwala na jego zmierzenie. Pomiary dojrzałości przedsiębiorstwa wymagają wprowadzenia podejścia procesowego. Wiele firm rozważa jego użyteczność i efektywność. Jego funkcją jest lokalizacja relacji pomiędzy procesami w przedsiębiorstwie, ich znaczenie i poprawy procesu zarządzania. Artykuł zawiera porównanie wielu modeli dojrzałości w celu odnalezienia elementów wspólnych i rozbieżnych pomiędzy nimi. Publikacja odnosi się do przeglądu literatury w zakresie wykorzystanych modeli dojrzałości, co umożliwi dokonanie finalnego porównania.

In the present essay, the author tries to look at the problem of humanism architecture by dichotomous values understood phenomena such as modernism and tradition, and the legacy of antiquity and regionalism, or folklore, also elitism and egalitarianism, ethics and aesthetics; finally order (harmonious) and its antagonists, or chaos / anarchy and order total, or hyper-order.

Niby architektura jest dla ludzi, a w praktyce projektujemy ją, my architekci, dla siebie, własnego splendoru i własnej przyjemności. Jak to z tym jest?, spróbujmy sobie ten problem wyjaśnić. W przedstawionym eseju autor próbuje spojrzeć na problem humanizmu architektury poprzez dychotomicznie rozumiane wartości zjawisk jak modernizm a tradycja, a w niej spuściznę antyku oraz regionalizm, czyli ludowość, dalej elitaryzm i egalitaryzm, etyka i estetyka; wreszcie ład (harmonijny) i jego antagoniści, czyli chaos/ anarchia i ład totalny, czyli hiper-ład.

The emergence of what British writer Warren Ellis calls a "burst culture" may help speed along print's decline, that is unless several factors regarding the medium are analyzed, most specifically compression and form. Contrasted with the digital medium, it is important for print to evolve by not mirroring what works in digital publishing - most specifically, creating more compressed experiences - but by creating experiences that cannot be replicated in other mediums, digital or otherwise. Efforts like House of Leaves and other works of literature are creating unique experiences in print that are helping to break the literary traditions that have kept the medium stagnant for decades.

Postmodernism is a general term used to describe the changes, developments and tendencies taking place in literature, art, music, architecture and philosophy. One of the more prevalent characteristics of postmodernist literature is metafiction, a literary device used to explore the relationship between fiction and reality by making the reader aware that they are, in fact, reading fiction. The emergence of metafiction in postmodernist literature changes the foundation of the story and thus jeopardizes its shape, especially when considering that metafiction is not about the story, but the author. This article will examine the basic shape of the story both in traditional and metafictional perspectives using Hunter S. Thompson's, Kurt Vonnegut's, and Stephen King's The Dark Tower books.

Niniejszy artykuł przeglądowy jest oparty na publikacjach, które ukazały się w latach 2000-2003. Przedstawiono w nim definicje terminów nanotechnologia oraz nanokompozyty polimerowe. Omówiono gwałtowny wzrost liczby publikacji dotyczących nanokompozytów (rys. 1) i nanokompozytów polimerowych (rys. 2), jaki ma miejsce w ostatnich latach. Podkreślono rosnący udział publikacji związanych z polimerami w ogólnej liczbie publikacji dotyczących nanokompozytów (rys. 3). Zaprezentowano wybrane substancje przydatne do wytwarzania nanokompozytów polimerowych. Omówiono strukturę najczęściej używanego nanonapełniacza, tj. montmorillonitu - MMT (rys. 4). Przedstawiono ponadto metody wytwarzania nanokompozytów polimerowych i możliwe do uzyskania struktury (rys. rys. 5 i 6). Krótko zaprezentowano rodzaje metod badania struktury nanokompozytów polimer/MMT. W dalszej części artykułu przedstawiono sposoby otrzymywania i właściwości nanokompozytów zawierających krzemiany warstwowe i polimery termoplastyczne, takie jak: poliolefiny, polistyren i jego kopolimery oraz poliamidy. Wspomniano również o innych termoplastach stosowanych do otrzymywania tych materiałów, takich jak: PET, PMMA, EVA, PVC, poliimidy, polidiacetylen, polieteroimidy, polisulfony, poli(tlenek etylenu), kopolimer etylen/octan winylu, polianilina, poliwinylopirolidon, poli(4-winylopirydyna) i polimery ciekłokrystaliczne. Następnie krótko opisano wytwarzanie i właściwości nanokompozytów z udziałem krzemianów warstwowych i duroplastów (żywice epoksydowe, nienasycone żywice poliestrowe, poliuretany i silikony).

This review article is based on the publications mainly from the years 2000-2003. Definition of the terms ,,nanotechnology" and ,,polymer nanocomposites" were done. Dynamic increase of nanocomposites (Fig. 1) and polymer nanocomposites (Fig. 2) publication number in the last years were presented. Growing percent share of polymer nanocomposites publication number in total nanocomposites publication number were stated (Fig. 3). Some substances useful for nanocomposites preparation were listed. The structure of MMT (Fig. 4) - the most often nanofiller used - were presented. Nanocomposites preparation methods and the structures possible to be obtained were described (Figs. 5 and 6). Chosen nanocomposites' structure investigations methods were presented. In the next part of article, synthesis method and properties of nanocomposites containing layered silicates and thermoplastic polymers such as polyolefines, polystyrene and polystyrene copolymers and polyamides were described. Also publications concerning others thermoplastics such as: PET, PMMA, EVA, PVC, polyimides, polydiacethylene, polyeterimides, polysulphones, poly(ethylene oxide), ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, polyaniline, polyvinylpirolidone, poly(4-vinylopirydyne) and liquid crystal polymers were presented. Finally the synthesis methods and properties of some thermoset polymers (epoxy resin, unsaturated polyester resin, polyurethanes and silicones) were discussed.
