A novel micronized additive based on a renewable raw material provides excellent matting properties. Further beneficial effects, such as a pleasant surface touch and good mechanical properties are observed. The best results were achieved in UV systems, but the additive is suitable for solvent-free, solvent-borne and water-borne coatings.
