The article is devoted to the problem of regulatory support activities of chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The author analyzes sexagenarian experience of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and describes it as the socio-pedagogical model and the educational system, to form creative abilities of pupils in the process of research work. The author focuses the attention on the chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences, which provides the organization of pupils’ research in the natural, medical and agricultural sciences. The purpose of the article is the analysis of regulatory support of activities of chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.During researchthe author reveals the documents, which promote the implementation of ideas of work with intellectually gifted pupilsin scientific circlesandsections of thechemical andbiologicaldepartmentsof Minor Academy of Sciences. The researcher characterizes basic normative documents for the organization of educational process, namely: Decrees of the President, resolutions of the Government, board decisions, instructions, letters of the Ministry of Education and Sciences of Ukraine and so on. Important are commandments of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine «On the competition of research of pupils-members of MAS», «On the training programs for Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine», «On the individual form of teaching», others. In conclusion the author stresses that each stage of development of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine determines its regulatory framework. This base expanding every year and now Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and its research department have a high level of regulatory support. This allows pupils get acquainted with the achievements of science and technology, and develop creative thinking, realizing the desire for scientific research, acquire research skills while studying in the Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. So designing models of development of intellectually gifted children in Ukraine still continues; so the important task is to create a regulatory support basis of the problem.

The article deals with the peculiarities of historiography research of organizational and pedagogical bases of activity of the chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The author proposes periodization of historiographical analysis of the investigated problem (I period (early 60’s late 80th century) soviet (totalitarian), the second period (late 80’s 2015) postsoviet-(pluralistic). The main directions of activity of the chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine are characterized. In the article the author analyzes monographs, dissertations, generalizing and educational literature, archival sources on the problem of activity of the chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Scientific research of problems during the first period had representational, mainly descriptive, and informational character. They were represented by single works of methodological nature devoted to particular aspects of the organization of extracurricular work with subjects of chemical and biological cycle, depth study of chemistry and biology, organization of problem training at the lessons of chemical and biological cycle. In the analysis of research papers the author concludes that there is lack of a coherent, integrated and systemic historical and educational research on the problem under investigation. The author gives examples of sources where the problem of activity of chemical and biological departments is considered not fully. The second period is characterized by the appearance of the first works which contained generalized experience of the activities of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the appearance of the first dissertations on the problems of activities of MAS of Ukraine. The author analyzes the main dissertations of Ukrainian and Russian scientists on the activities of Minor Academy of Sciences and scientific societies of pupils, as well as basic educational literature on the research problem. In conclusion, the author classifies documentary and archival sources into three groups: 1) regulatory documents; 2) record keeping records; 3) representation source.

The article is devoted to the problem of the competitive activities of pupils of chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences attract gifted pupils to research activities in the natural, medical, psychological and agricultural sciences. The MAS member pupils develop research projects and defend them during competitions. The annual All-Ukrainian competition-defending of research works of pupils – members of the МAS is an important event in life of the Minor Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the article is structural-organizational and technological analysis of All-Ukrainian competition-defending of research works of pupils – members of the МAS for pupils of chemical and biological departments of Minor Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. The author gives historical facts that are a prerequisite for launching of the contest. It analyzes twenty years of experience of its organization and carrying out. The article describes its structure and content of activities of the contestants at each stage of the competition. It characterizes the evolution of the structure of chemical and biological departments of the competition and the reasons of formation in 2010 year on the basis of chemical and biological departments of two departments: chemistry and biology and ecology and agricultural sciences. The author gives a list of scientific sections in which pupils defend their research works. The researcher characterizes basic normative documents regulating carrying out of the competition. In this context are very important commandments of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine «On the competition of research projects of pupils-members of MAS», «Regulations on Ukrainian Olympiads of pupils in basic and special disciplines, tournaments, contests- defending of pupils’ research works». The author concludes that the All-Ukrainian competition-pdefending of research works of pupils - members of the МAS is the most popular and important event of the research and experimental direction of out-school education. It is constantly improved and promotes upbringing of professionally oriented, armed to the research toolkit young people that being at school know their purpose, orientation, scientific vocation and enter the universities, clearly realizing scientific field in which they want to work.
