The document comes from the collection of the State Archives of Lviv Oblast in Ukraine – the collection of the Provincial Office in Lviv. This is a monthly report of the State Police Headquarters in Małopolska for January 1920.

The aim of the article is to present selected source documents from the Russian State Historical Archive (Российский государственный исторический архив) in Saint Petersburg relating to the Trinitarian Order. The analysed documents – dealing with the monasteries in Babinoviche, Berestechko, Brailov, Brest, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Kryvichy, Lutsk, Maladzyechna, Orsha, Rzhyshchiv, Shumbar, Teofipol, Trinitopol, Vilnius and Vitebsk – include those of monastic provenance (mainly court files and correspondence), visitation files, correspondence produced by the state administration concerning the dissolutions of the various monasteries, management of the architectural property left by them as well as its measurement drawings.

The article presents the subject matter of the articles that make up the fifteenth issue of “Educational Sciences. Interdisciplinary Studies,” which is devoted to a reflection on Helena Radlińska’s work and her numerous fields of activity. The concept that binds the articles presented in the issue is the category of a “historical generation.” The authors, inspired by the achievements of the creator of social pedagogy, use source texts and introduce new interpretations using the achievements of world humanities.

Tekst prezentuje tematykę artykułów składających się na piętnasty numer czasopisma „Nauki o Wychowaniu. Studia Interdyscyplinarne”, który został poświęcony namysłowi nad twórczością Heleny Radlińskiej i jej licznymi polami działania. Konceptem spajającym całość rozważań jest kategoria „pokolenia historycznego”. Autorzy zainspirowani dorobkiem twórczyni pedagogiki społecznej sięgają do tekstów źródłowych, a także wprowadzają nowe odczytania jej dokonań, posiłkując się dorobkiem humanistyki światowej.

Celem publikacji jest przedstawienie „Gazety Polskiej Bukowiny”, ukazującej się od 2007 roku na Ukrainie, jako źródła do badań nad współczesną polszczyzną pisaną w tym kraju w warunkach jej kontaktu z innymi językami. Na tle pokazania stanu badań nad językiem prasy polskiej mniejszości narodowej na Ukrainie omawia się zalety i perspektywy studiów językoznawczych prowadzonych na materiale tekstów „Gazety Polskiej Bukowiny”, w tym także z uwzględnieniem – jako narzędzia badawczego – utworzonego na potrzeby naukowe elektronicznego korpusu tego periodyku. Podaje się charakterystykę gazety (czas wydawania, struktura, zakres tematyczny publikacji, ich autorzy, redakcja) i najogólniej określa się zasięg odstępstw od ogólnopolskiej normy językowej, które można analizować na podstawie tekstów publikacji pisanych przez osoby polskiego pochodzenia. Dokładniej zaś specyfikę językową ilustruje się na przykładzie deklinacyjnych form rzeczownika odbiegających od normatywnych odpowiedników ogólnopolskich. Przytacza się komentarze o możliwych wpływach zewnątrzinterferencyjnych w wyniku kontaktów polszczyzny z językiem ukraińskim i – bezpośrednio lub pośrednio – rosyjskim, który aktywnie funkcjonuje na Ukrainie obok języka państwowego.

This article presents the magazine Gazeta Polska Bukowiny [The Polish Gazette of Bukovina], which has been published in Ukraine since 2007, as a source for the study of contemporary written Polish under the conditions of its contact with other languages in Ukraine. The analysis is set against the background of research on the press of the Polish national minority in the country. The article offers a discussion of the advantages and prospects of the linguistic study of texts published in Gazeta Polska Bukowiny, including the use of the electronic corpus of this periodical as a research tool. The study outlines the characteristics of the magazine (time of publication, structure, topics of texts, their authors, editing) and, in the most general terms, the scope of deviations from the general Polish norm, which can be analysed on the basis of texts written by people of Polish descent. The linguistic specificity of these texts is more precisely illustrated on the example of case forms of nouns which deviate from their normative Polish equivalents. The author considers the potential impact of interference resulting from contact between Polish and Ukrainian and – directly or indirectly – Russian, which functions in Ukraine alongside the official language of the country.

Tekst opisuje dokument znajdujący się w zbiorach Archiwum Państwowego w Poznaniu. Jest to odpowiedź przeora bledzewskiego O. Jana Nepomucena Kalacińskiego i trzech innych profesów na ankietę przesłaną przez Konsystorza Poznańskiego z dnia 3 lipca 1828 r. z pytaniami o ilość mszy i innych nabożeństw sprawowanych w parafiach obsługiwanych przez cystersów, a także o treść znajdujących się w budynkach kościel-nych inskrypcji. Udzielony respons zawiera opis jednej z sal klasztornych, zdobionej malowidłami i napisami. Z ich treści wynika, iż wykonano je w następstwie obchodów jubileuszu 600-lecia ustanowienia reguły cystersów, który był obchodzony uroczyście w całym zakonie w 1699 roku. Malowidła musiały powstać po 1776 r., możliwe, że ich autorem był malarz Jan Seifrit (Szyfert), którego nazwisko zostało odnotowane w księdze wydatków klasztoru bledzewskiego. Znalezisko jest tym cenniejsze, iż sam klasztor w Bledzewie nie zachował się. Został rozebrany w 1843 r. i nie wiadomo jak wyglądało jego wnętrze. Opisany rękopis informuje o fazach budowy klasztoru, osobach, które przyczyniły się do jego powstania a także podaje wygląd jednej z najważniejszych sal klasztornych.

The article presents a document from the collection of the State Archive in Poznan. It is a response of the Prior of Bledzew, Fr. Jan Nepomucen Kalaciński and three other professors to a questionnaire sent by the Consistory of Poznan on July 3rd, 1828 with questions about the number of holy masses and other services conducted in the Cistercian parishes as well as about the contents of inscriptions in church buildings. The response contains a description of one of the monastery halls decorated with paintings and inscriptions. From the contents of the inscriptions it follows that they were made in consequence of ceremonious celebrations of the 600th anniversary of founding the Cistercian rule in 1699. The paintings were supposedly made after 1776, probably by painter Jan Seifrit (Szyfert), whose name was recorded in the account book of the monastery. The finding is all the more valuable that the monastery in Bledzew no longer exists. It was dismantled in 1843 and there is no information about its interior design. The described manuscript informs about the stages of the monastery’s construction, people who contributed to its erection and describes one of its most important halls.
