The paper presents process of certification of the Polish quality management systems according to the required ISO 9000 series of standards in the Polish organizations during the period of 1990 - 2002. The obtained results have been analyzed and future development of certification process in accordance with the ISO 9000 series of standards in the Polish organizations has been presented.

The paper is aimed at presenting a model of transition from quality management systems to knowledge management systems in software developing organizations. The methodology focuses on presenting components of the model of transition from quality management systems to knowledge management systems. The paper defines the model of transition from the quality management systems conformable with series 9000 ISO international standards supplemented with ISO/IEC 90003:2004 to knowledge management systems. The model consists of four processes and five elements treated as the results of the process implementation. The paper demonstrates how quality system elements can be useful in the implementation of knowledge management system processes, such as localisation and the acquisition of knowledge.

Organizacje sektora ochrony zdrowia coraz częściej poszukują skutecznych metod i narzędzi do wspomagania procesu zarządzania. Jedną z popularnych koncepcji wdrażanych w placówkach medycznych jest system zarządzania jakością umożliwiający kontrolę procesów leczenia, monitorowanie kosztów oraz efektywne wykorzystanie posiadanych zasobów. Zaprezentowano także charakterystykę jakości usług opieki medycznej. W dalszej części wskazano na procedurę dotyczącą wdrożenia systemu zarządzania jakością z uwzględnieniem podejścia procesowego w badanej placówce medycznej.

Organizations health sector are increasingly looking for effective methods and tools to support the management process. One popular concept implemented in medical facilities is a quality management system that allows control of the processes of treatment, monitoring costs and efficient use of resources. The aim of the article is to identify the implementation of quality management system carried out in a medical facility. It also presents the characteristics of the quality of health care services. It is pointed out the procedure for the implementation of the quality management system with regard to the process approach in the studied medical facility.

The purpose of the paper is to present the organisation and results of the empirical research facilitating the localisation and acquisition of knowledge in software developing organisations which have designed, documented, implemented and maintain quality management systems.The author’s interest is focused on presenting a project of empirical research aimed at the localisation and acquisition of knowledge in software developing organisations. The paper contains an assessment of the usability of the previously proposed model of transition from quality management systems to knowledge management systems in software developing organisations for the purpose of establishing KMS elements (solely for knowledge localisation and acquisition processes). The assessment of usability is made in relation to quality management systems conformable with the ISO 9001:2000 supplemented by ISO/ IEC 90003:2004.

W artykule przedstawiono charakterystykę zautomatyzowanego systemu przeznaczonego do kontroli wizyjnej tabletek i kapsułek pakowanych w przezroczyste blistry. Inspekcja jakości pakowania obejmuje: wykrywanie braku tabletek w gnieździe lub ich nieprawidłowe ułożenie, wykrywanie tabletek o niewłaściwym kolorze lub wymiarach, wykrywanie zanieczyszczeń blistra oraz sprawdzenie prawidłowości oznakowania blistra. Omówiono właściwości podstawowych składników sprzętowych systemu. Zaprezentowano moduły programowe związane z projektowaniem nastaw systemu, tworzeniem nowych zadań inspekcji, a także wizualizacją przebiegu inspekcji w trybie automatycznym. Przedstawiono właściwości i parametry techniczne systemu. Opracowany system umożliwia pełną archiwizację nastaw oraz wyników inspekcji.

The system described in the paper provides automated optical inspection of tablets and capsules packed in transparent blisters. The packaging inspection includes: detection of tablets/capsules presence in nests, detection of improper position of tablets, detection of tablets which have improper color or size, detection of blister's contaminations, marking inspection of blisters. Features of basic hardware components of the system are discussed. Software modules related to: projects of system settings, creation of new inspection tasks and visualization of inspection stream in automatic mode are presented as well. Main features and technical data of the system are described. The system assures also the possibility of full archiving of the inspection settings and results.

With Poland`s accession to the European Union, opened certain job markets and also gave rise to new possibilities of people economic migration. The lack of employees also affected the food industry. In this new situation on the job market, a basic problem for many owners is often to ensure the continuity of production, the financial liquidity of the company and the proper level of food safety as well. This paper analyses the problem of efficient management system operation, focusing on a solution, which ensures the stability of the food safety system.

It is shown a very significant role and importance of standardisation in the EU economic policy. Standardisation, has increasing application supporting legislation serving the simplified and restricted legal acts. Areas, in which standardization importance has increased are: rules of the internal market, strategy on safety, public procurement, the elimination of technical barriers, innovation policy and services development Among the important areas of standards with legal acts it should be include: management systems, conformity assessment and accreditation, and safety in different transport sectors. It also discusses examples of legal standards binding rules with standarisation products, which availability and proper understanding determine possibility of executing of the provisions of law.
