The objective of these studies was to determine the possibility of employing post-extraction rapeseed meals from a bi-zero and mono-zero variety of rape in mixed feed intended for broiler chicken. The experimental birds were given feed containing /instead of the post-extraction soyabean oilmeal/ rapeseed meal of the Jantar variety /15% in DKA starter and 14% in DKA finisher/ and 14% of mono-zero meal /only in the DKA finisher/. Moreover, ground maize /30 and 39%/ was exchanged in all experimental groups into mixed cereals comprising ground wheat and ground barley. It was found that the use of bi-zero post-extraction rapeseed meal of the Jantar variety in amounts of 15-14% in the starter and finisher mixed feeds had no influence on the body weight of chicken and the use of feed to 1 kg of increment. However, the introduction during the second period of rearing of mono-zero rapeseed meal caused an essential decrease in the production rate of birds. A considerable enlargement of thyroid glands was noticed in experimental chicken. The admixture of the two ground grains to mixed feeds did not essentially influence the quantity of slaughter parameters, researchers noticed only a decrease in the contents of abdominal fat in bird carcasses fed with mono-zero rapeseed meal.
