In the paper – bending of bars with piezoelectric layer – is analyzed. It were calculated equivalent material function as a result of comparison of bending bar with piezoelectric sensors to homogeneous bar. It was received correlation between local value of damage parameter and global value of damage parameter.

W pracy podjęto problem emisji biogazu, którego głównymi składnikami są metan (CH4) i dwutlenek węgla (CO2). Są one jednocześnie gazami cieplarnianymi. Mając na uwadze możliwość pozyskiwania biogazu do celów energetycznych, określono zawartość CH4 i CO2 z potencjału gazowego złoża odpadów komunalnych. W obliczeniach posłużono się modelem Tabasarana. W oparciu o dane z zamkniętego składowiska odpadów komunalnych w Makowie Mazowieckim, wykazano, że w 2011 roku emisja biogazu może wynieść od 1,2 do 7,95 m3. h-1. Jeżeli uwzględni się jeszcze, że pozyskanie biogazu wynosi około 50%, wówczas jego ilość nie gwarantuje opłacalności. W wariantach o korzystnych parametrach wydajności może okazać się zasadna, co potwierdzają dane wariantów porównawczych, a szczególnie pierwszego.

The paper addresses the problem of biogas emissions. The main components of the studied biogas are greenhouse gases, methane (CH4) and carbon dioxide (CO2). In view of the renewable energy potential of biogas generation, the content of CH4 and CO2 in municipal waste landfill gas was determined in the study, using the Tabasaran model. Based on data acquired at the closed municipal landfill site in Maków Mazowiecki, it was shown that in 2011 biogas emissions could range from 1.2 to 7.95 m3. h-1. Since biogas production rate oscillates around 50%, the noted biogas quantity does not ensure the economic viability of the process. The expected profitability could be achieved for optimal yield parameters, as shown by data obtained in the compared variants, particularly the first.

W pracy podamy sposób oceny uszkodzeń konstrukcji z wykorzystaniem czujników z foli piezoelektrycznej. Ocena polegać będzie na porównaniu zmian pola elektrycznego w czujnikach wywołanego tymi samymi obciążeniami w konstrukcji nieuszkodzonej (na początku eksploatacji) oraz w trakcie eksploatacji, kiedy narastają uszkodzenia materiału konstrukcji. Korzystamy tu z twierdzenia o wzajemności dla teorii naprężeń piezoelektrycznych lub symetrii z równań elektrycznych.

A system structure–piezoelectric sensor is analyzed in the paper. One gives equations describing piezoelectric effect occurring in the stratified construction, which is composed of structural and piezoelectric layers. The piezoelectric elements are considered here as a sensors determining value of damage parameter in the structural layers. Thanks to the symmetry analysis of these equations, the damage estimation in material of structural layers is possible.

One gives a formulation of wave equations for a stratified bar which is composed of structural material and piezoelecric element. The piezoelecric element is considered here as a sensor determining value of global damage parameter of structural material.

The frequency stabilized He-Ne lasers are applied as length standard in interferometers used for high-precision measurement of distances and displacements. This paper presents the calibration equipment applied for the definition of real value of the laser radiation wavelength and investigation of stability and reproducibility of the wavelength of the laser radiation in the He-Ne laser interferometers. The laser radiation frequency was measured with the heterodyne method with the help of the developed laser frequency iodine standard 633 nm. The system was used for calibration of the frequency of the He-Ne Zeeman laser used in the two frequency laser interferometer.

In the paper we compare the laser based measurements of linear parameters of numerically controlled machines. A new dynamic method of measuring machine positioning is described and compared with the widely used static method. The algorithms of the dynamic method are presented and the comparison results of both methods are shown. It is proven that with the new method the measurement time of linear errors of the CNC machines can be reduced significantly. Additionally the machine wear-out in the linear axes can also be easily and efficiently monitored.

Badania przeprowadzono na terenach przemysłowych (Mysłowice) oraz rekreacyjnych (Niżna Łąka, Sierpc i Czernie).

Results of investigations concerning interaction between Pb, Cd, Mn, Ni, Fe, Cr, Cu and Zn in morfological part of Achillea millefolium L. in relation to speciation heavy metal in soil were presented. The samples analysed were collected from the industrial and the recreational areas. Achillea millefolium L. has different abilites to accumulate given elements dependent on their speciation on the bioavailabity in the adjacent soil.
