The variations of ambient air humidity and temperature have detrimental influence on the working characteristics of most semiconductor-type gas sensors, including that of ozone sensor. The authors developed two-input fuzzy model of the sensor with genetic algorithms utilized for tuning of the model. At the input the thin film ozone sensor fabricated by the authors and comerrcial Keithley himidity sensor were used. Mixing of ozone with air and measuring its concentration by the amperometric Omega sensor enabled the collection of calibration data. Mamdani and Takagi-Sugeno-KAng (TSK) fuzzy models were developed and obtained results discussed. The influence of humidity variations on the sensor response was checked.
