Abstrakty
Celem niniejszego artykułu jest zaprezentowanie wybranych problemów integracji gospodarczej Unii Europejskiej oraz próba oceny jej postępu. (fragment tekstu)
Motto of integration has appeared in political programme of Europe over the past half-century, however, it affected significant economic changes only recently. In mid-80s, European politicians were discussing the creation of homogeneous market and free flow of commodity, persons, services, and capital in Europe. The article presents chosen problems of European Union economic integration and attempts to estimate its progress. The author discusses the following topics: demographic problems integration of European labour market, problems of economic growth, changes of industrial structures, and trade policy. It is emphasized that economies of European Union countries evolve towards a homogeneous European economy. However, there is a long way before it will be possible to say about one economy. There are considerable economic differences among member states. (original abstract)
