Purpose: The basic purpose of the article was to determine the awareness of different generation groups in terms of ecological and economic aspects of life. Design/methodology/approach: The article presents the theoretical framework of consumer behavior and the implemented pro-ecological activities of representatives of Generations X, Y, Z. Subsequently, social involvement in pro-ecological activities in the immediate vicinity was determined based on own research and exemplary results of international research. Findings: The main hypothesis put forward is as follows: ecological and economic awareness is related to the age difference. The research indicates that there are differences in the consumer behavior of representatives of different generations in relation to environmental protection and the global energy crisis. Research limitations/implications: The research confirmed the formulated hypothes. The financial possibilities of various social groups may indicate a different image of consumerism in the era of commonly required pro-ecological behavior. Practical implications: The respondents showed great awareness and knowledge as well as commitment to pro-ecological activities, considering economic aspects. Social implications: Contemporary promotion of pro-ecological activities leads to an increase in social awareness. Originality/value: The analyzes of the conducted surveys emphasize the increasing awareness of pro-ecological and economic behavior of consumers in many countries and the need to adapt urban space to social and ecological requirements. Consumption leads primarily to an increase in production, which is an important factor of economic growth in the world markets.
Purpose: The objective of the article is to identify activities of the municipality in the field of cooperation with the environment to develop appropriate pro-social activities in the management of municipal resources on the example of the Municipality of the City of Częstochowa. Design/methodology/approach: The research tool was a structured survey questionnaire prepared by the authors of the article. The survey was conducted in June 2022 among residents of municipal resources in the city of Częstochowa, the Silesian Voivodeship, Poland. Findings: The research indicated that housing resource management processes should assume cooperation with the economic and scientific environment and the implementation of scientific research results in shaping models for municipal housing resource management to meet social needs, strengthen social ties and create new models in the field of municipal resource management. Research limitations/implications: In addition to scientific values, the study also has a practical aspect that can be used by municipalities and managers of municipal housing resources as support in conscious and effective planning and implementation of pro-social activities in resource management to improve the living conditions of residents. Practical implications: In the future it is reasonable to conduct further research on pro-social activities in municipalities. Specific examples of pro-social activities in municipal resources of various municipalities should be indicated and their perception by residents should be analyzed. Social implications: Due to the changes taking place in the resource, the development of techniques and information technologies, as well as in connection with demographic changes, growing expectations, needs and requirements of residents, it seems important to systematically carry out analyzes in this regard as well as to assess the impact of implemented solutions on the living conditions of the residents of the resource. Originality/value: The conducted research included in the article potentially extends the literature on the subject, presenting pro-social activities in municipal resources on a specific example.
Purpose: The growing complexity of the environment in which they operate causes modern enterprises, including various types of organizations, to develop competitive management models aimed at meeting the expectations of various groups of stakeholders involved in their activitiesin the long-term perspective. This article focuses on the importance of corporate social responsibility (CSR) in the activities of the municipal housing manager in the context of its stakeholders. The study examines how stakeholders (employees, resource residents, entrepreneurs) perceive the city's housing manager's CSR activities. Design/methodology/approach: In this study, in addition to the analysis of the literature on the subject, the results of the survey conducted in the first and second quarter of 2022 among 363 stakeholders of the municipal housing manager were used. In the study, the impartiality test χ2 and the coefficient of T Czuprow convergence were used, with the significance level α = 0.05. Findings: The results suggest that each of the three selected groups of stakeholders perceive the necessity of CSR activities differently. The group that is the most interested in such activities are employees, the inhabitants of resources expect only actions aiming to improve the quality of their lives, and therefore actions within the aspect of local responsibility. Entrepreneurs in turn, are interested in activities in the social, external and environmental aspects. In addition, the results of these studies may contribute to the state of knowledge in the scientific literature by pointing to the importance of CSR activities by entities not focused on maximizing profits. Originality/value: It can be expected that the developed models will help decision makers of city housing managers to gain a perception of the stakeholder's awareness of and attitudes towards the CSR concept.
The aim of the research conducted as part of the presented article is to present the expectations of seniors in terms of service in local government units and the resulting needs for the use of modern digital solutions contributing to the improvement of their quality of life, together with digital exclusion, which was the basis for the research in the creation and implementation of the Avatar project effects. The article presents research on the assessment of the quality of service in the office, supplemented with practical solutions in the form of a virtual assistant for the elderly, which in turn improved the level of service in the perception of older people. The article uses the Servqual methodology to determine the level of satisfaction of older people with service in the office and indicates the limitations related to digital exclusion in these people, as well as the effects related to supporting the elderly through an avatar - a virtual assistant.

Celem badań przeprowadzonych w ramach prezentowanego artykułu jest przedstawienie oczekiwań seniorów w zakresie obsługi w jednostkach samorządu terytorialnego i wynikających z nich potrzeb w zakresie wykorzystania nowoczesnych rozwiązań cyfrowych przyczyniających się do poprawy ich jakości życia, wraz z wykluczeniem cyfrowym, które było podstawą badań w zakresie tworzenia i wdrażania efektów projektu Avatar. W artykule przedstawiono badania dotyczące oceny jakości obsługi w biurze, uzupełnione praktycznymi rozwiązaniami w postaci wirtualnej asystentki dla osób starszych, co z kolei poprawiło poziom obsługi w percepcji osób starszych. W artykule wykorzystano metodologię Servqual do określenia poziomu zadowolenia osób starszych z obsługi w biurze oraz wskazano ograniczenia związane z wykluczeniem cyfrowym u tych osób, a także efekty związane ze wsparciem osób starszych poprzez awatara - wirtualnego asystenta.
