Taking into account the autonomous navigation system design and today’s state of the art navigation with regards to weather and collision avoidance this paper presents the architecture of the integrated approach, its links to existing rules and regulations and the test scenarios. These demonstrate how safe and efficient navigation of autonomous vessels can be achieved by showing the module's interaction and validating the feasibility of the approach. These analyses will be based on historical traffic data sets as well as simulation results.

Przedstawiono problematykę optymalizacji drogi morskiej statku jako zagadnienia wyboru trasy statku w warunkach rozmytości. Podjęto próbę formalnego zdefiniowania elementów otoczenia rozmytego - celów, ograniczeń i decyzji rozmytych. Rozpatrywane zagadnienie sklasyfikowano jako problem podejmowania decyzji przez jednego decydenta, w jednym etapie podejmowania decyzji oraz jako zagadnienie wielokryterialne.

The article presents the ship weather routeing problem as a decision-making of ship route selection in fuzzy conditions. An attempt was made to set forth a formal definition of fuzzy environment elements: fuzzy goals, constraints and decisions. The considered problem was classified as a problem of decision made by one person, in one stage of decision procedure and as multi-criterion problem.
