Nowadays, in urbanized areas one of the most important matters is to determine a priori the time of driving from one zone of the city to another at various times of the day. The problem of travel time prediction is crucial in Intelligent Transportation Systems. The solution to this problem is a foundation of any route guidance system that will redirect drivers to their target destination via routes that have a lighter traffic load and thus higher travel velocity. In this paper is present a concept of a statistical methodology, developed by the ArsNumerica Group, that enables a quantity audit a travel time prediction algorithm. The methodology assumes that we are given database records of vehicles recognized by their unique identifier as well as duration times for which the messages with the predicted travel time are displayed VMS. the second aspect of ITS auditing considered in this paper is a placement of video cameras to measure vehicle stream velocity. Inappropriate camera location results in the fact that the stream velocity measured by them has a low usefulness for travel time prediction.

Audit polega na ustaleniu, czy stan faktyczny jest zgodny z wymaganiami opisanymi w tzw. kryteriach auditu (tj. w normach, procedurach, specyfikacjach, przepisach prawa itp.). W artykule zaprezentowano podstawowe informacje dotyczące auditowania jako narzędzia doskonalenia systemów zarządzania jakością i bezpieczeństwem żywności. Dokonano także zwięzłej charakterystyki auditów wewnętrznych (strony pierwszej) i zewnętrznych (strony drugiej oraz trzeciej), z uwzględnieniem auditów dostawcy, klienta oraz auditów certyfikacyjnych. Ponadto zaprezentowano ogólne zasady auditowania i niektóre wytyczne wynikające z normy ISO 19011 oraz specyfikacji technicznej ISO/TS 22003. Artykuł zawiera także krótki opis kompetencji auditorów, a także czynników determinujących skuteczność auditów.

An audit means a set of actions allowing establishing whether an actual state conforms to the so-called audit criteria (i.e. standards, procedures, specifications, law rules etc.). In this article the audit as a common tool for continuous improvement of food quality and safety management systems is discussed and fundamentals of auditing are presented. The paper contains summarizing of internal (first-party) as well as external (second-party and third-party) auditing including supplier, customer and certification audits. Some general principles of auditing and guidelines resulting from ISO 19011 and ISO/TS 22003 standards, a short description of auditor competences and main factors influencing the audit effectiveness are pointed out.
