Giganten-wechsel in der Europäischen Sägeindustrie. In diesem Artikel werden die aktuelle Situation und die wichtigsten Änderungen in der Sägeindustrie in Europa vorgestellt: Die Großen werden noch größer. Sowohl die Einschnittskapazität von Rundholz als auch die Schnittholzproduktion in Europa wachsen kontinuierlich. Die Autoren schildern in diesem Artikel die Geschichte des ehemaligen Symbols für Expansion und dynamische Entwicklung in der europäischen Sägebranche: Klausner, so wie auch den heutigen Zustand der Firma Klausner. Darüber hinaus wird auch der Entwicklungsweg des neuen Erfolgssymbols in der Branche – der Firma Binderholz aufgezeichnet. Darüber hinaus wird über die wichtigsten Übernahmen in der Branche berichtet. Die größten Akteure sind heute nicht nur reine Sägewerksfirmen, sondern Konzerne, die Schnittholz produzieren und das Schnittholz sofort zu Endprodukten z.B. KVH, BSH, BBS verarbeiten, sich aber auch mit der Papierherstellung, mit Biomassekraftwerken oder der Pelletproduktion beschäftigen.

Zmiana gigantów w europejskim przemyśle tartacznym. W artykule przedstawiono aktualną sytuację oraz najważniejsze zmiany w przemyśle tartacznym w Europie. Duże firmy tartaczne stają się jeszcze większe. Zarówno zdolność przetarcia drewna okrągłego jak i produkcja tarcicy w Europie systematycznie rosną. Największe firmy tartaczne to obecnie koncerny zatrudniające tysiące pracowników, które nie tylko produkują tarcicę ale od razu ją przerabiają na zaawansowane wyroby gotowe, np., drewno konstrukcyjne klejone na długość, klejone warstwowo, płyty klejone krzyżowo, są producentami papieru a produkty uboczne przerabiają na pelet. W artykule przedstawiono historię firmy, która przez lata była symbolem ekspansji i dynamicznego rozwoju tartaków w Europie: Klausner Holz wraz z jej aktualną sytuacją. Ponadto zaprezentowano drogę rozwoju nowego symbolu i aktualnego lidera w europejskiej branży tartacznej: firmy Binderholz. Artykuł zawiera również informacje o najważniejszych przejęciach w branży, które miały miejsce w ostatnim czasie.

The work presents the results of character research and the share of by-products generated at the stage of processing the raw material timber in sawmill plants. For identification purposes individual forms of by-products and their participation in sawmill processes is important to separate the basic ones technological features that shape them. Type and quantity of by-products are primarily dependent on the type being processed raw material and production volume determining the technologies used processing. The research was carried out by means of a diagnostic survey, in selected ones wood industry plants processing round hart wood and softwood. Medium and small wood plants were included the most numerous group of sawmill enterprises. An analysis was made indicative and comparative. Depending on the species layout, it was established share of piece products degree of disintegration (chips, sawdust, wood dust, etc.). Factors that influence the quantity have been determined generated by-products for use own and for sale to wood biomass customers.

The article analyses the process of large-scale road transport of softwood. Research conducted on medium and small enterprises resulted in the formulation of technical and operational indicators of the transport unit. The indicators enabled the determination of the transport organization efficiency. The researchers verified the influence of the size of processing enterprises and their raw material purchasing structure on the rationale of deliveries and costs related to their implementation.
