Muzejnaâ arhitektura, imeet značitel'nuû social'no-kul'turnuû cennost' i značenie dlâ ustojčivogo razvitiâ i optimizacii žiznennoj sredy lûdej. Sledovatel'no važno analizirovat' takoj vid arhitektury s raznyh toček zreniâ, čtoby izučit' ego prostranstvennuû i funcional'nuû organizaciû. Dannaâ stat'â osveŝaet ponâtie arhitektury muzejnogo prostranstva i ego vidov dviženie v nem posetitelej i soputstvuûŝie etomu funkcional'nye processy. Pri pro providenii issledovaniâ byli ispol'zovany obŝenaučnye metody issledovaniâ, a takže élementy sistemnago pohoda. Rezul'tatami issledovaniâ stali predloženiâ po organizacii muzejnogo prostranstva, kotorye daût vozmožnost' privlekat' i udovletvorat' potrebnosti sovremennoj publiki.

Museum architecture has a high social and cultural value and significance for sustainable development and optimization of people’s living environment. Therefore, it is important to analyze museum architecture from different points of view in order to study its spatial and functional organization. A clear organizational structure enables the visitor to choose independently what to see and form his own experience and the significance of the visit. The museum in the modern world is not only a place of storage, accounting and study of cultural monuments. Today, the museum is a cultural and educational institution that sets itself, in addition to specific professional tasks, also broad scientific, educational, aesthetic tasks. Museums are transformed into multi-level complex, diverse structures. These structures require a detailed and comprehensive study to identify the principles and patterns that affect their formation and functioning in today’s public space. This research deals with the concept of the architecture of the museum space. This article explores the most important functional spaces of the museum, their types, their characteristics and mutual relations. In the course of the study, general scientific methods of research were used, as well as elements of the systemic expedition. The results of the research were proposals for the organization of the museum space, which provide an opportunity to attract and satisfy the needs of the modern public.

Od funkcji obronnej do muzealnej. Średniowieczny zamek w Niepołomicach jako przykład przekształceń funkcjonalnych w historycznej strukturze

W artykule przedstawiono zmiany programowe i funkcjonalne w zabytkowych strukturach średniowiecznych zamków obronnych, które na przestrzeni 600 lat ulegały różnorodnym przekształceniom, a obecnie znakomicie pełnią funkcje muzealne. Analiza kilku wybranych zamków średniowiecznych wskazuje na znaczną różnorodność programów i funkcji, jakie na przestrzeni kilku stuleci były "wkomponowane" w ich uniwersalną, jak się okazało, strukturę konstrukcyjno-przestrzenną. Transformacja zachodząca w historycznej tkance została szczegółowo zilustrowana na przykładzie zamku w Niepołomicach, wzniesionego w latach 1340-1349, który bardzo dobrze ilustruje przebieg procesu, jakim podlegały średniowieczne twierdze. Z przeprowadzonych analiz wynika, że już średniowieczny zamek może odpowiadać niektórym kryteriom, pojmowanej w dzisiejszym znaczeniu, architektury "mix-using".

This essay presents program and functional changes in monumental medieval structures of defensive castles that for last 600 years underwent various transformations, and now splendidly fulfill the role of museums. The analysis of several selected medieval castles shows a large variety of programs and functions that were "composed" into the universal, as it came out to be, construction-spatial structure throughout a couple of centuries. This transformation, undergoing in the historical tissue, was illustrated in details on the example of the castle in Niepołomice, which was built in years 1340-1349, and which excellently shows the process that affected the medieval strongholds. The result of the conducted analysis indicates that even a medieval castle may fulfill some of the criteria of the "mix -using" architecture, as its meaning is understood contemporarily.

Artykuł jest próbą odniesienia istniejącej klasyfikacji przestrzeni muzealnych do historycznych obiektów postindustrialnych, adaptowanych na cele muzealne i wystawiennicze. Część zajmowanych przez placówki artystyczne obiektów jest ożywiana w sposób, którego nie da się wpisać bez zastrzeżeń w opisane przez teoretyków architektury modele. Po analizie współczesnych realizacji zauważa się również zjawiska, które dotychczas nie występowały w muzealnictwie.

The aim of the article is to show comperisment of existing modem museal spaces to postindustrial spaces used for exhibitions. Author tries to focus on contemporary trends and tendencies used to design modem museums.

Znaczenie oświetlenia w odbiorze dzieł sztuki, oglądzie eksponatów muzealnych i percepcji wrażeniowo- artystycznej jest niebagatelne. Konfiguracje świetlne mogą skupiać uwagę na dziele sztuki bądź na sobie. Niniejszy artykuł obrazuje jak umiejętnie eksponować walory muzealnych wnętrz i ich zasobów. Muzeum jest w pewnym sensie nieustanną dialektyką początku i końca. Naczelną zasadą architekta, scenografa wnętrz powinna być pewna równowaga estetyczna i zachowanie idei obcowania z dziełami sztuki. Miejsca raz powołane nie są jednak raz na zawsze określone i zdefiniowane, ale podlegają często daleko idącym transformacjom albo inicjują powstanie nowych miejsc. Tak dzieje się z przestrzenią muzealną. Artykuł poniższy wskazuje także na niechlubne skutki użycia aparatury oświetleniowej w muzealnych obiektach.
