Artykuł podejmuje problematykę kształcenia architektonicznego w relacji do aktualnych problemów rozwiązywanych w praktyce architektonicznej. Kształtowaniu architektury towarzyszy obecnie brak spójnych - uniwersalnych wzorów formalno-estetycznych, narastająca złożoność uwarunkowań lokalizacyjnych oraz arbitralność kryteriów inwestorskie. Celem artykułu jest krytyczna charakterystyka eksperymentu dydaktycznego przeprowadzonego w ramach procesu kształcenia studentów 6. semestru studiów I stopnia na Wydziale Architektury Politechniki Śląskiej. Przedmiot i metodyczne ramy eksperymentu określa synergiczne włączenie w opracowywanie koncepcji architektonicznej realnych uwarunkowań urbanistycznych oraz kryteriów sprecyzowanych przez rzeczywistego inwestora.

The article take up the issues of architectural education in relation to the current problems solved in architectural practice. The shaping of architecture is currently accompanied by the lack of coherent - universal formal and aesthetic patterns, the increasing complexity of location conditions and the arbitrariness of investor criteria. The purpose of the article is a critical description of the didactic experiment carried out as part of the education process of students of the 6th semester of 1st cycle studies at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology. The subject and methodological framework of the experiment is determined by the synergistic inclusion in the development of the architectural concept of real urban conditions and criteria specified by the real investor.

The paper will present educational system on architecture faculty of Lvov technical university, which was realized since university had got full academicals rights (1877) up to the beginning of the next century, when the program had to be reconstructed for the new requirements of industrial revolution. Essential elements of this program will be compared with present educational system of architects.

The dynamic development of economy require the presentation of descriptive geometry mainly in technical applications. The first course students must know the sense of learning of such difficult subject in reception. The descriptive geometry is a new subject for almost all students of technical universities. Thus there exists the necessity to go into the matter of young people with the mapping method. Thanks to this method it is possible to descript the geometrical projects of building structures. In the course of mechanics of building, on the base of the geometrical projects, there exists the possibility of determining of decomposition of interior forces. Moreover, in the course of metalic and complex constructions and reinforced concrete constructions, there exists a possibility of projection of construction section. The measure mapping has a great application to design of ground structures. In connection with the quick development of family buildings possessing an interesting architecture there exists a necessity to prepare students to geometrical plan of very complicated roofs. Moreover, during auditorial exercises students prepare geometrical plans of different coupling types using in sanitary engineering.
