The article describes the development of fundamentals of machine elements and assemblies design processes automation using artificial intelligence, and descriptions of structural elements’ features in a natural language. In the proposed interactive automated design systems, computational artificial intelligence methods allow communication by speech and natural language, resulting in analyses of design engineer’s messages, analyses of constructions, encoding and assessments of constructions, CAD system controlling and visualizations. The system is equipped with several adaptive intelligent layers for human biometric identification, recognition of speech and handwriting, recognition of words, analyses and recognition of messages, enabling interpretation of messages, and assessments of human reactions. The article proposes a concept of intelligent processing for analysis of descriptions of machine elements’ structural features in a natural language. It also presents the developed methodology for similarity analysis between structural features of designed machine elements and corresponding antipatterns allowing normalization of parameters of the analysed structural solutions.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono interaktywną metodę wykrywania zaburzeń widzenia barw (zwłaszcza dichromatyzmu), opartą na zestawie prostych aplikacji internetowych (w tym na platformach mobilnych), które mogą ułatwić zdiagnozowanie niektórych rodzajów ślepoty barw. Przedstawiono również analizę wyników uzyskanych podczas testów przeprowadzonych przy użyciu omawianej metody.

An interactive method of detecting colorblindness (especially dichromacy) based of a set of simple internet applications (also for mobile platforms) is presented in this article. The results of tests conducted using described method are presented and discussed.

The paper presents a universal concept of monitoring industrial, enterprise and private objects, including the so-called intelligent buildings and other facilities. Different management, control and diagnostic tasks can be easily incorporated into the design. Contemporary IT technology can be readily utilized for creating a complete effective and powerful system for fulfilling such purposes with respect to various facilities. This general idea has been developed and implemented in the form of a computer system, referred to as the Network Object Monitor (NOM), with the use of high technologies and specialised software. In the paper, principal information about the design and its critical problems are discussed.

Content available remote Interactive Systems with Registers and Voices

We present a model and a core programming language appropriate for modeling and programming interactive computing systems. The model consists of rv-systems (interactive systems with registers and voices); it includes register machines, is space-time invariant, is compositional, may describe computations extending in both time and space, and is applicable to open, interactive systems. To achieve modularity in space the model uses voices (a voice is the time dual of a register) - they provide a high level organization of temporal data and are used to describe interaction interfaces of processes. The programming language uses novel techniques for syntax and semantics to support computation in space paradigm. We describe rv-programs and base their syntax and operational semantics on FIS-es (finite interactive systems) and their grid languages (a FIS is a kind of 2-dimensional automaton specifying both control and interaction used in rv-programs). We also present specification techniques for rv-systems, using relations between input registers and voices and their output counterparts. The paper includes simple specifications for an OO-system and for an interactive game.

W artykule dokonano przeglądu zewnętrznych stosowanych w interaktywnych systemach symulacji oraz przedstawiono możliwości wykorzystania wybranych komponentów sprzętowych w komputerowo wspomaganych działaniach technicznych.
