Celem artykułu jest określenie roli i znaczenia człowieka oraz jego słabości w systemie bezpieczeństwa informacyjnego organizacji. Wszyscy ludzie popełniają błędy, które niekiedy mogą wiązać się z poważnymi konsekwencjami. Jak wynika z 2014 Cyber Security Intelligence Index, aż 95% wszystkich incydentów związanych z bezpieczeństwem dotyczy błędów popełnionych przez człowieka. Dla organizacji takie sytuacje są zazwyczaj bardzo kosztowne, ze względu na to, że dotyczą osób, które posiadają dostęp do najbardziej wrażliwych danych. Jak wynika z przytoczonego w artykule badania, świadomość respondentów dotycząca zagrożeń występujących w systemach informacyjnych jest niska. Zmiany zachodzące w dostępie do informacji wiążą się z koniecznością ciągłego doskonalenia jej ochrony. Nie tylko systemowej, lecz także wynikającej z kompetencji człowieka. Dlatego warto na nim skupić uwagę i zastanowić się nad możliwymi metodami poszerzania jego kompetencji oraz ciągłej nauki.

The purpose of this article is to define the role and importance of human beings and their weaknesses in the information security system of an organization. All people make mistakes that can sometimes have serious consequences. According to the 2014 Cyber Security Intelligence Index, as much as 95% of all security incidents are related to human errors. For organizations, such situations are usually very costly, as they concern people who have access to the most sensitive data. As the study cited in the article shows, the awareness of threats in information systems among the respondents is low. The ongoing changes in the availability of information are associated with the need to constantly improvement its protection. Not only systemic, but also protection resulting from human competences. That is why it is worth focusing on him and considering possible methods of expanding his competences and continuous learning.

The innovation of application of cloud managers is described in the article. The authors emphasize that the innovative direction of development of information activities is the integration of Web platforms (social networks and cloud storages) for creating a unified communication space and storage for large amount of information. Tool that provides this development are cloud managers. For library institutions using such technologies will create the favorable and flexible serviceoriented system for providing users with information resources. For determination of free cloud managers and selected among them a benchmark, the methods of benchmarking and expert evaluation were used in the research. The algorithm for operation with every service is given. The following technological capabilities: “integration with cloud storage”, “cloud disk space manager”, “multimedia playback,” “presence of workspace” for collaboration were taken into account. The result of the study is to determine the cloud manager that can serve as a benchmark for providing free cloud services with a wide range of technological capabilities.

Practical factor of information resources processing in electronic content commerce systems (ECCS) is related to solving problems with increase in content amount on Internet, active development of e-business, rapidly spreading Internet accessibility, information products and services extension set, increasing demand for content. The aim was to developmethods and software of information resources processing to improve the efficiency of ECCS due to increased sales of content. Article is devoted to the standardized methods and software development of information resources processing in ECCS. In this paper an actual scientific problem of development and research in methods and means of information resources processing ECCS was solved with use of designed classification, mathematical providing and software and generalized ECCS architecture. ECCS classification was researched and improved on the basis of analyzing and evaluating of such systems. It made possible to determine, detail and justify choice of their functional possibilities for content lifecycle designing. The task of developing methods and software formation, management and support of information products resolved with a theoretically grounded concept by automating information resources processing in ECCS to increase content selling for constant user, by involvement of potential users and expanding the boundaries of the target audience.

The need to improve the accessibility of the occupational safety and health information stems both from significant expansion of electronic information resources of libraries, both in Poland and other countries in the world, as well as with the observed preferences of modern Information users. Clearly focused on the simple, intuitive search they want it easy, so they can just use the single search window. It needs not to be complex, they'd rather have it "the way the Google search engine works".

The aim of this article is to analyze intelligence activities in both the economy as well as in the politics. The fundamentals of economy intelligence derived from the military intelligence. The article discusses the communication policy of the selected educational institutions in the region of Eastern Slovakia in the context of the analysis of potential customers' - secondary school students' familiarity with the institutions and favourable attitudes towards them. It monitors the attitudes of the above mentioned subjects towards the faculties of the selected higher education institutions putting the emphasis on finding and meeting their needs for information. It also focuses its attention on defining further target segments and meeting their needs for information resources by means of selecting tools of communication policy and their appropriate combination.

Monitoruje postawy wobec powyższych podmiotów wymienionych wydziałów wybranych instytucji szkolnictwa wyższego, kładąc nacisk na znalezienie i zaspokojenia ich potrzeb informacyjnych. Ponadto skupia swoją uwagę na określenie dalszych segmentów docelowych i zaspokojenia ich potrzeb w zakresie zasobów informacyjnych za pomocą wybierania narzędzi polityki komunikacyjnej i ich właściwej kombinacji.

The technical infrastructure of the hospital creates conditions for effective and safe leading the process of diagnosing, the treatment and the rehabilitation of patients. At the multitude of both the diversity of medical apparatus, the technical equipment and the necessity for permanent holding and the adaptation of buildings to needs of manufacturing processes of medical services, hospitals permanently employ services for plant maintenance which are gathered in technical department for exploitation. Conducted preliminary examinations from areas of the Silesian province in chosen individuals of the health care showed, that planning and carrying out works and repairs of technical infrastructure of the hospital isn't being assisted by computer tools. From here an identification and a modeling of processes of the use of the technical infrastructure in the hospital organization will be a purpose of the article for the needs of designing the integrated Service Oriented Systems. Developing the example of the system about SOA architecture will constitute the attempt of implementing the model supporting processes of the use of the infrastructure in the hospital organization in accordance with the concept "Facility Management" (FM). FM is a synonym of modern managing building and spatial structures. Exactly systems and information technologies are a factor of integrating FM various areas.

Infrastruktura techniczna szpitala stwarza warunki do efektywnego i bezpiecznego prowadzenia procesu diagnozowania, leczenia i rehabilitacji pacjentów. Przy wielości i różnorodności aparatury medycznej, sprzętu technicznego i potrzebie stałego przystosowywania budynków do potrzeb produkcji usług medycznych, szpitale na stałe zatrudniają służby utrzymania ruchu, które są zgromadzone w działach techniczno - eksploatacyjnych. Przeprowadzone badania wstępne na terenie województwa śląskiego w wybranych jednostkach szpitalnych wykazały, że planowanie i prowadzenie przeglądów i napraw nie jest wspomagane przez narzędzia informatyczne. Stąd celem artykułu będzie identyfikacja i modelowanie procesów eksploatacji infrastruktury technicznej w obiekcie szpitalnym na potrzeby projektowania systemu wspomagającego zorientowanego na usługi. Przedstawienie przykładu systemu opartego na SOA będzie stanowiło próbę implementacji modelu wspomagającego procesy eksploatacji infrastruktury w organizacji szpitalnej zgodnego z koncepcją "Facility Management" (FM). FM jest synonim nowoczesnego zarządzania budynkami i obiektami przestrzennymi. Systemy i technologie informatyczne stanowią czynnik integrujący różne obszary zarządzania obiektami.

W artykule podjęto próbę identyfikacji zasobów informacyjnych przedsiębiorstwa i określenia podstawowych ich właściwości. Proces organizacji zasobów informacyjnych wymaga strukturalizacji potrzeb firmy i odniesienia do istniejącej bazy techniczno-technologicznej. Szczególnego znaczenia nabierają systemy rozproszone z możliwością ich integracji w aspekcie wdrażania strategii X-engineeringu. Przedstawiono możliwość adaptacji niektórych rozwiązań dla potrzeb zarządzania organizacją procesową. Przydatność zintegrowanych, standardowych systemów informatycznych zarządzania może być widziana w aspekcie oceny możliwości wspomagania decyzji. Wymaga to jednak spójnych koncepcji związanych z racjonalnym wykorzystaniem zasobów organizacji rozproszonych do realizacji wspólnych celów. Nowoczesne koncepcje w zarządzaniu organizacjami rozproszonymi eksponują platformę Internetu do komunikacji z otoczeniem i do wzmacniania wspólnego potencjału małych i średnich firm.

In this article we have tried to identify information recourses of organization and describe their properties. Process of organizing information resources requires definition of organizations needs and relating them to existing technological base. Distributed systems with the possibilities of their integration get special meaning in the aspect of implementation of x-engineering strategy. We presented the possibility of adaptation of some of the solutions for management of process organization. Need of integrated standard management information systems may be seen in the aspect of the possibilities to aid decisions. This requires integral concepts connected to rational use of organization resources for realization of common goals. Modern concepts in distributed organization management use the Internet platform for communicating with environment and for enforcing common potential of small and medium organizations.

W IUNG-PIB od wielu lat konstruowane są narzędzia informatyczne dostarczające informacji pomocnych producentom rolnym przy podejmowaniu decyzji produkcyjnych. Do modelowania technologii produkcji roślinnej i kalkulacji kosztów służy m.in. program Agroefekt. Wykonane analizy technologiczno-ekonomiczne mogą być wykorzystane do planowania przyszłych działań i zarządzania produkcją roślinną. Niewłaściwie prowadzone nawożenie, szczególnie niewłaściwa gospodarka azotem może powodować niekorzystne zmiany w środowisku. Prawo polskie zaleca bilans azotu "na powierzchni pola" jako metodę monitorowania wpływu nawożenia azotem na jakość wód gruntowych. Do wykonania bilansu przydatny jest program MacroBil. Zalecenia dla wielu roślin uprawnych dotyczące nawożenia można uzyskać stosując program doradczy NawSald. Dobór odmian kukurydzy dla różnych rejonów Polski z uwzględnieniem wymagań termicznych można przeprowadzić posługując się aplikacją internetową "Fenologia kukurydzy". System wspomagania decyzji ZeaSoft ułatwia wybór odmiany na podstawie lokalnych warunków klimatycznych, charakterystyki odmian i rachunku ekonomicznego.

At the Institute of Soil Science and Plant Cultivation - National Research Institute IT tools that provide the information essential for decision-making to farmers have been built for a number of years. Technology modelling and cost calculation can be conducted with the aid of the Agroefekt program. The technological and economic analyses obtained may be used in planning of future activities and farm production management. Fertilization and nitrogen management have a strong effect on the environment and it is important to conduct them in a proper way. The Polish law recommends nitrogen balance at the scale of the field as a method of monitoring the impact of nitrogen fertilization on the quality of ground water. The balance can be calculated with the MacroBil program. The information on fertilization for a number of crops can be obtained with the aid of the NawSald program. The selection of varieties based on the thermal requirements of maize and climatic conditions in various regions in Poland can be carried out with the Maize Phenology Internet application. The ZeaSoft system supports decision making in the selection of maize variety based on local climatic conditions, variety characteristics and economic analysis.

W artykule przedstawiono portal internetowy Europejskiej Agencji Bezpieczeństwa i Zdrowia w Pracy. Jego tworzenie, utrzymywanie i rozwój jest jednym z celów strategicznych realizowanych przez Agencję. W związku ze znacznym powiększaniem się zasobów informacyjnych witryny, konieczne było podjęcie prac prowadzących do poprawy skuteczności wyszukiwania informacji w portalu. Prace te realizowane są przez Centrum Tematyczne - Środowisko Pracy i obejmują weryfikację tezaurusa Agencji, doskonalenie opisu rzeczowego poszczególnych stron portalu oraz inne prace związane z utrzymywaniem i rozbudową zasobów.

As a result of the significant increase in information resources on the website, improving the efficiency of searching became a necessity. The Topic Centre Work Environment verifies the Agency's thesaurus, improves the description of the website's content (metadata) and carries out other tasks connected with maintenance and development of information resources.

Defensive stocks are generally assumed to be a whole of defensive-economic potential components and elements that are in current disposal of the state. The size and intensity of these elements depend on the scale of threat for the state security and its social and economic development. Their qualitative and quantitative condition is a fundamental determinant of the state’s defensive capabilities. At the same time they determine the level of security. These stocks can be used not only during peaceful development but also in crisis and war. Hence so much attention is paid to the importance and range of their forming and development. The literature concerning defensive stocks theory is largely scattered and not homogenous. It can be stated that no synthesis of the researched phenomenon is available in our country. Therefore the task of the article is to familiarize the reader with the defensive stocks perception and characteristics. The article has a theoretical character. That is why the main research method is the analysis of available literature on the subject. The paper consists of five parts. In the first one the defensive stocks are identified and classified. Personnel, material, financial and information resources are characterized in the further four ones. The article content may be included into such a science as security economics.

Portale i witryny internetowe instytucji i organizacji zajmujących się bezpieczeństwem i zdrowiem w pracy stanowią obecnie jedno z najważniejszych źródeł informacji z tej dziedziny. W artykule przedstawiono nową wersję witryny internetowej Międzynarodowego Centrum Informacji o Bezpieczeństwie i Higienie Pracy CIS przy Międzynarodowym Biurze Pracy ILO, szczególnie w aspekcie udostępnienia w jej ramach po raz pierwszy w formie bezpłatnej dwóch źródeł informacji: bibliograficznej bazy danych CISDOC oraz wydawnictwa "The ILO Encyclopedia of Occupational Health and Safety". Oba te produkty były dotychczas udostępniane w formie drukowanej, na dyskach CD. oraz poprzez strony internetowe w formie odpłatnej zarówno przez ILO-CIS, jak i przez inne instytucje.

The portals and websites of institutions and organizations which deal occupational safety and health at work are now among the most important sources of information. This article describes a new version of the website of the International Occupational Safety and Health Information Centre CIS - working in the frame of the International Labour Office ILO - especially the two newly available, free of charge, sources of information: a bibliographic database CISDOC and “The ILO Encyclopaedia of Occupational Health and Safety”. Both products were up to now accessible for a fee in print, on CDs and on the websites of ILO-CIS and of other institutions.
