Doświadczenie, zostało założone w 1948 w Rolniczym Zakładzie Doświadczalnym w Mochełku w woj. Kujawsko-Pomorskim na glebie płowej typowej. Analizowana gleba zakwalifikowana została do klasy bonitacyjnej IVa. Celem pracy było oznaczenie w glebie aktywności arylosulfatazy oraz zawartości siarki ogółem, siarczanowej, a także zawartości siarki potencjalnie przyswajalnej dla roślin ekstrahowanej testem KCl-40 w próbkach glebowych pobranych czterokrotnie w 2002 po zmianie nawożenia na jednolite mineralne z 12 obiektów.

A long- term static fertilization experiment was settled in 1948 at the Mochelek Experimental Station in the Cuiavia- Pomerania Region on a lessive soil. The soil was classified as good for rye (class IVa). Soil samples were collected from the 5- 25 cm layer of the Ap horizon in year after changes of fertilization at the moment of cultivation of oat at the following dates: 14.03., 04.05., 10.07., 12.09.2002 from 12 experimental variants: 1. control, 2 straw +NPK, 3.NPK + CaO, 4. NPK, 5. farmyard manure (FYM), 6. FYM + PK, 7. FYM + KN, 8. FYM + KN + MgO, 9. FYM + PN, 10. FYM + PN + Mg, 11. FYM + NPK, 12. FYM + NPK + Ca + Mg. The objective of the study was to assay soil arylsulphatase activity as well as the content of total sulphur, sulphate(VI) sulphur, and sulphur extracted with the KCl- 40 test, potentially available to plants. The content of total sulphur in the soil under study was low. It depended on the kind of fertilization and sampling dates. The highest concentration was found in case of the fertilize object. Its content over oat vegetation period varied. It was affected significantly by the fertilization variants used. Both sulphate sulphur and available sulphur concentrations were closely related to experimental factors. The content of available sulphur (KCl- 40 test) was higher than that of sulphate sulphur was ranged 25,74 - 103,87 mg.kg- 1. Arylsulphatase activity assayed in soil samples ranged 0.105 - 0.154 µM pNP g- 1.h- 1. It also depended on fertilization and sampling dates. Its highest activity was noted in soil samples collected in early spring date from the object with full organic and mineral fertilization.

Analizując uzyskane rezultaty stwierdzono, że najlepsze parametry technologiczne ziarna i mąki a w konsekwencji najlepsze pieczywo, co potwierdziły próbne wypieki chleba a następnie ich ocena organoleptyczna uzyskano na obiektach nawożonych dawką 100 i 120 kg azotu, zebranych w terminie optymalnym oraz ziarnie prztwarzanym po zbiorze, najgorsze zaś przy nawożeniu dawką 60 kg na hektar, opóźnionym terminie zbioru oraz wydłużonym czasie przechowywania.

The analysis of the results indicated that the best technological parameters of grain and flour were reached on the objects fertilized with the doses of 100 and 120 kgN per ha. The harvest was well timed and the grain processes after it. It was confirmed in pilot baking and organoleptic analysis of bread. The worse results were noted after fertilization with 60 kgN per ha, at a late harvest time and an extended storage time.
