Emergency Evacuation Route Choice Based on Improved Ant Colony Algorithm

In order to explore the optimal route choice for emergency evacuation in the campus, we propose a novel route choice method based on brittle characteristics of campus system and improved ant colony algorithm. Both optimal and worst-case emergency evacuation routes are simulated in the campus of Ningbo University of Technology. From the simulation, the length of optimal and worse-case evacuation routes between the starting point and eight exits can be obtained by adjusting the importance value of trip distance and the degree of conformity, under the condition of static relative importance of pheromone concentration to graph G. The optimal route of emergency evacuation in the campus can be obtained when the importance of trip distance is above 5 and the degree of conformity is above 0.3; while the worse-case route is obtained with the importance of trip distance above 5 and the degree of conformity below 0.5.

Ewolucyjny rozwój nowożytnych, wielkich obiektów sportowo-widowiskowych, jakimi są stadiony, trwa ponad sto lat. Współcześnie na świecie funkcjonuje ponad czterysta stadionów, których pojemność widowni przekracza czterdzieści tysięcy miejsc. Szczególnie dynamiczny rozwój tych obiektów nastąpił na przełomie XX i XXI wieku, kiedy powszechną zasadą stało się zadaszanie całej widowni. Coraz częściej dach przekrywa nie tylko widownię, ale i arenę stadionu. W okresie tym nastąpił również znaczny postęp w zakresie kształtowania widowni. Wprowadzono unormowane standardy projektowe i użytkowe dotyczące komfortu i bezpieczeństwa widzów. Jednym z elementów mających zasadnicze znaczenie dla tych standardów są drogi komunikacji i ewakuacji w obrębie widowni. Treścią artykułu są wynikające z tych zagadnień uwarunkowania i problemy w dziedzinie projektowania architektonicznego. Autor przedstawia własne metody projektowe oraz analizy, uwagi i spostrzeżenia wynikające z wieloletniej praktyki projektowej i realizacyjnej w tej dziedzinie.

The evolutionary development of Modern Stadiums - large scale Sports Venues extends not much over 100 years. Nowadays, more than 400 Stadiums with capacity exceeding 40 thousands seats exist all over the World. Particularly dynamic development of these buildings has happened on the turn of the 20th century when covering the seating tiers by the roof became the typical solution. In this period, as well, the significant progress in the field of spectator accommodation has taken place. Normalized rules concerning safety and com-fort of spectators have been put into force, leading to new designing standards. The circulation and emergency evacuation routes are the aspects having vital significance for these standards. The article treats on determinants and problems issued from these topics in the field of architectural designing.
