The global pandemic has forced many people to make significant changes in their work, personal lives, and everyday duties and activities. This metamorphosis has also significantly affected education systems. Implemented research activity in the learning process and emphasised the development of children’s cooperation have recently been limited and often unattainable because of learner isolation, prevailing home education, and different countries’ COVID-19 quarantine measures. Herein, we investigated and tested the 2020 European spring preparedness, commitment, and erudition of in-service and pre-service teachers and parents in remote education. We profiled the following three paradigm models of successful remote education; specific experience of in-service and pre-service chemistry teachers and the parents of school-age children. Here, we concentrated on sensitive identification of the most common problems, disadvantages, and risks. Prospective teacher training should concentrate more on remote education. It should help develop teachers’ didactic competencies and increase their motivation and willingness to participate in this mode of education.

Artykuł prezentuje dylematy związane z nauką zdalną w Akademii Sztuki Wojennej z perspektywy studentów drugiego roku studiów niestacjonarnych kierunku logistyka. Początkowa część artykułu przedstawia krótki opis edukacji podczas pandemii COVID-19, następne autorzy skupili się na badaniach pilotażowych, polegających na wywiadzie eksperckim, który został przeprowadzony dzięki uprzejmości 5 studentów. Ostatnią częścią artykułu są wnioski. Autorzy zaznaczają, że artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do dalszych prac związanych z wpływem pandemii na poziom kształcenia zdalnego.

The article refers to dilemmas related to distance learning at the War Studies University from the perspective of parttime 2nd year logistics students. Introduction consists of a briefly described COVID-19 pandemic situation progressively continued by the authors' preliminary examination supplemented by expert interview based on participation of 5 academic students. The final part includes conclusions. The authors take notice that the paper is an introduction to further research referring to pandemic influence on the quality of distance learning.

In this paper, a conceptual distance learning architecture based on a semantic web enabled multi-agent platform is introduced. The need for such architecture arises to automate every day management tasks of a distance education system. Agents take care of such automation by using a common vocabulary of terms defined in ontologies. The users of the system are each given an agent to act on their behalf. These agents are then used to query, negotiate and cooperate with other agents to organize tasks and inform their users

W pracy przedstawiono zagadnienie architektury systemu edukacji zdalnej opartej na wieloagentowej sieci. Zapotrzebowanie na taki system wynika z potrzeby automatyzacji codziennej pracy w systemie edukacji zdalnej. Agent zajmuje się automatyzacją tej pracy, stosując powszechne słownictwo zdefiniowane w bazach. Każdy użytkownik ma swojego własnego agenta. Agenci tacy współpracują z innymi agentami w celu organizacji zadań i przekazywania informacjiswoim użytkownikom

Purpose: The issue of distance learning is presented in the work, and especially the development stages of the educational platform of the Internet Teaching Centre for Students (further referred to as ICKS), which is planned to be used for implementation of the e-learning didatcic process. Design/methodology/approach: The following programming technologies were used for development of the educational platform: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. The relational database was designed using the DFD and ERD models, and created in MySQL using the SQL language. PHP language was used to develop the relevant interface so that the user can access and modify data in the database; scripts in this language form the MySQL database front-end making it possible to carry out operations on data. The ICKS web page interface, including the Administrative Panel, Student Rooms, and Teacher Rooms, was developed using the HTML language and the CSS cascading style sheets. Findings: Detailed e-learning site specification requires were put forth and the contemporary technologies were applied to develop the framework for the scaleable e-learning platform. Research limitations/implications: The system will have to be filled in with relevant course materials and tested thoroughly before being fielded. Originality/value: System elements development completed out so far and detailed specifications make it possible to implement the platform to handle all subjects taught at the Institute.

Najwcześniejsze formy prowadzenia kształcenia na odległość sięgają nawet początku XVIII wieku. Przez kolejne wieki, aż do dziś, idea propagowania nauki poza głównymi ośrodkami edukacyjnymi była taka sama. Dążono do pozyskania jak największej grupy uczących się bez względu na odległość między nauczycielem a uczniem. Rozwój edukacji na odległość podzielił się na etapy, które wyznaczane były kolejnymi zdobyczami ówczesnej wiedzy oraz techniki ściśle powiązanej z dostarczaniem materiałów szkoleniowych.

Thie article deals with e-learning and teleworking systems prepared for visually impaired people. The review of tools and technolgies helping in preparation of educational contents, technical and scientific documents suitable for the blind has been presented. The necessity of easy knowledge and information exchange between sighted and visually impaired people is also emphasized in the article.

O przewadze metod edukacji zdalnej nie trzeba już dzisiaj nikogo przekonywać. Pomimo oczywistych i niekiedy istotnych wad tego systemu, wiele ośrodków kształcenia decyduje się na realizację takiej właśnie formy działalności edukacyjnej. W niniejszym artykule autorzy przedstawiają propozycję realizacji edukacji elektronicznej wykorzystywaną w procesie kształcenia podyplomowego specjalistów telekomunikacji na przykładzie studiów prowadzonych przez Instytut Łączności w Warszawie.
