W artykule przedstawiono prace badawcze służące zaprojektowaniu i zbudowaniu prototypu urządzenia (typu paczkomat dla żywności), złożonego z niewielkich komór (boksów), w dwóch wariantach: chłodniczych i mroźniczych, zapewniających warunki temperaturowe (+5 °C lub -18 °C), umożliwiające przechowywanie żywności. Scharakteryzowano rezultaty weryfikacji działania innowacyjnego urządzenia MainBox w rzeczywistych warunkach. Opisano badania przeprowadzane z wykorzystaniem kamery termowizyjnej i systemu monitoringu temperatur modułu chłodniczego i mroźniczego. W oparciu o uzyskane wyniki określono optymalne warunki pracy urządzenia.

The article presents research work on the design and construction of a prototype device (food parcel locker), consisting of small chambers (boxes) for cooling and freezing, providing temperaturę conditions (+5 °C or -18 °C), enabling storage of food. The results of verification of the innovative MainBox device in real conditions were characterized. Tests carried out with the use of a thermovision camera and temperature monitoring system in all chambers of cooling and freezing module are described. On the basis of the obtained results, the optimal working conditions of the device were determined.

Content available E-shopping models in selected European countries

The paper presents e-shopping preferences in selected European countries. Research encompassed the period of 2017-2017. The source material includes foreign and domestic literature on the subject, numerical data provided by Eurostat and data from DPD report. The work was developed using the descriptive, tabular and graphic tools, as well as the Pearson linear correlation coefficient. The average Internet purchases by individuals in households in European Union increased from 30% in 2007 to 57% in 2017 E-shopping is very different in individual EU countries. They differ in terms of ordered goods online, frequency of purchases, important criteria of e-shopping to customers, devices used to order, preferred payment methods and places of parcels delivered. It was found very high level of correlation between the Internet purchases and the computer and Internet access.

Dropshipping jest logistycznym modelem prowadzenia sklepu internetowego bez konieczności posiadania magazynów, a polegający na przeniesieniu procesu wysyłki towaru na dostawcę. Model ten oparty jest na outsourcingu usług logistycznych, a co za tym idzie partnerstwie na linii e-sklep- dostawca. Rosnąca popularność e-zakupów, złagodzenie barier handlowych i usprawnienie logistyki dla niewielkich, indywidualnych przesyłek przyczynia się do powstawania sklepów internetowych działających w tym modelu również w Polsce.

Dropshipping is a logistics business model online shop without the need for storage, and involving the transfer process of shipment to the supplier. This model is based on the outsourcing of logistics services, and hence the partnership on line e-shop-supplier. The growing popularity of e shopping, relaxation of trade barriers and improving logistics for small, individual items contributing to the emergence of online stores operating in this model, also in Poland.

Content available Personal communication services in wireless networks

The paper presents modern personal services and new trends observed in evolution of wireless services. The article covers voice and data transmission services offered in mobile networks as well as information services delivered to users over Internet/IP networks. With reference to voice services, selected GSM services based on IN services platform, e.g., the services of flexible scenarios are described. Moreover, the status of VoIP service provided over WLAN is explained. Concerning data transmission services, selected UMTS services are presented as well. Among information services, presentation of wide scope of services offered to mobile users, e.g., messaging, location-based information, transferring text information, unified communications as well as Internet services, e.g., e-commerce, e-shopping, telebanking and micropayments is done. For both, voice and data transmission services, personal services are presented exclusively. Generally, the most attractive services with personal features are selected and described in this paper.
