Budynki energooszczędne stają się standardem współczesnego budownictwa. W tej kwestii coraz większe zainteresowanie wykazują inwestorzy z różnych regionów Polski. W niniejszym artykule oceniono, na ile realne jest uzyskanie odpowiednich parametrów energetycznych budynku mieszkalnego przy uwzględnieniu walorów architektonicznych, charakterystycznych dla regionu Jury Krakowsko-Częstochowskiej oraz jej parametrów klimatycznych.

Energy efficient buildings become standard in modern construction industry. In this field investors from different regions of Poland show their growing interest. The present paper considers the possibility to achieve appropriate energy parameters for a dwelling house, taking into account the architectural values characterizing the Jura Krakowsko-Czestochowska region and its climatic parameters.

Czy nauczanie architektury może dawać skuteczne zrozumienie natury architektonicznej wobec kryzysu podstawowych pojęć tej dziedziny? Wydaje się, że problemy dydaktyczne muszą iść w parze z podjęciem próby redefinicji podstawowych kwestii, z jakimi boryka się dyscyplina architektury. Diagnoza stanu obecnego pokazuje, jak głęboko naruszone zostały wewnętrzne relacje utrzymujące spoistość architektury. Świat zawodowy i akademicki, teoria i praktyka, forma architektoniczna i wielowarstwowa treść nie muszą być postrzegane jako spolaryzowane. Wnioski wiodą ku poszukiwaniu aktualizacji wartości architektonicznych i celowości działań organizujących przestrzeń, integracji teorii i praktyki oraz implementacji interdyscyplinarności skoncentrowanej na rozszerzaniu wiedzy o przestrzeni. Artykuł formułuje wybrane postulaty wyznaczające pożądane kierunki zmian w programach nauczania.

Can architectural education efficiently provide the understanding of the nature of the discipline in the face of crisis of its principle concepts. It seems that didactic issues should be matched with an attempt to redefine the principles of architecture. The diagnosis of current condition unveils how deep the cohesion of architecture determined by internal relations has been breached. The professional world and the academic world, the theory and the practice, architectural form and multilayered content must not be perceived as polarized. Conclusions encourage the search for architectural values and purposefullness of all activities related to spatial development, for integration of the theory and the practice, and implementation of interdisciplinarity with its focus on enhancing the knowledge on the environment. The article accentuates selected postulates indicating required transformations in education programs.
