The study concerns the possibility of using the Neo4j database as a graph analysistool. The analysis was presented on the example of the railway connection network assessmentwhen designing a new version of the railway infrastructure in the Silesian Voivodeship. Theauthors present the concepts of a laboratory environment built on the basis of the Neo4jdatabase, and an application that allows obtaining data and modifying the railway infrastructuremodel. Thanks to this, it is possible to simulate many variants of the designed model and itsevaluation using the proposed measurement indicators. The study presents methods and tools ofanalysis that can be successfully used to assess the topology of a graph in many different researchareas, such as analysis of management systems, computer networks or biological systems.

Globally, entrepreneurship and its link to economic growth, development and prosperity has been a topic of continued discussion. Entrepreneurship provides various direct and indirect positive results within developed and developing economies. Research suggests that the entrepreneurship development may have a positive effect on several economic variables. The purpose of this study, therefore, was to identify the relationships between three entrepreneurial variables (entrepreneurial intention - EI, Early-stage entrepreneurial activity - TEA and established business ownership - EBO) and, firstly, economic development using GDP per capita and, secondly, economic growth (GDP) using an econometric analysis method. The study followed a quantitative empirical approach using secondary data from 2001 to 2019 for selected European countries (Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Poland and Slovenia). Countries were selected based on their homogeneous traits and availability of data. Long and short-run relationships between the mentioned variables were tested using a pooled panel analysis. Results indicated a long-run relationship between the variables by using the Fisher-Johansen cointegration analysis. Further results of the analysis indicated that both TEA and EBO are significant predictors at 5% significant levels respectively of economic development (GDP per capita) and economic growth (GDP). In conclusion, the study proved that links between the mentioned variables do exist and that entrepreneurial activity should be stimulated and supported as it has a significant impact on economic growth and development at various degrees of impact.

Na całym świecie przedsiębiorczość i jej związek ze wzrostem gospodarczym, rozwojem i dobrobytem były przedmiotem ciągłych dyskusji. Przedsiębiorczość zapewnia różne bezpośrednie i pośrednie pozytywne wyniki w gospodarkach rozwiniętych i rozwijających się. Badania sugerują, że rozwój przedsiębiorczości może mieć pozytywny wpływ na kilka zmiennych ekonomicznych. Celem tego badania było zatem zidentyfikowanie związków między trzema zmiennymi przedsiębiorczymi (intencja przedsiębiorcza - EI, działalność przedsiębiorcza na wczesnym etapie - TEA i ustalona własność biznesowa - EBO), a po pierwsze rozwój gospodarczy z wykorzystaniem PKB na mieszkańca, a po drugie , wzrost gospodarczy (PKB) przy użyciu metody analizy ekonometrycznej. W badaniu zastosowano ilościowe podejście empiryczne z wykorzystaniem danych wtórnych z lat 2001–2019 dla wybranych krajów europejskich (Austrii, Chorwacji, Węgier, Polski i Słowenii). Kraje wybrano na podstawie ich jednorodnych cech i dostępności danych. Długoterminowe i krótkookresowe relacje między wspomnianymi zmiennymi zostały przetestowane przy użyciu analizy panelu zbiorczego. Wyniki wskazały na długoterminowy związek między zmiennymi za pomocą analizy kointegracji Fishera-Johansena. Dalsze wyniki analizy wykazały, że zarówno TEA, jak i EBO są istotnymi predyktorami przy odpowiednio 5% znaczących poziomach rozwoju gospodarczego (PKB na mieszkańca) i wzrostu gospodarczego (PKB). Podsumowując, badanie wykazało, że istnieją powiązania między wymienionymi zmiennymi oraz że należy stymulować i wspierać działalność przedsiębiorczą, ponieważ ma ona znaczący wpływ na wzrost gospodarczy i rozwój o różnym stopniu oddziaływania.

Nowadays, the data are available in a variety of formats such as relational database tables, xml files, rdf files or simply text files. Database systems have their own query languages and tools for the manipulation of data. On the other hand, most of today's applications are created in languages based on the object-oriented paradigm. From the level of the programming language it is important to use different sources of data in a uniform manner. The paper discusses the elements of the various query languages such as SQL XQuery or SPARQL. And then shows the capabilities of LINQ and its role in the creation of abstract data access layer. Then the possibilities of LINQ extension are discussed. As the example, design and implementation of LINQ provider for Allegro is presented.

W artykule przedstawiono koncepcję projektu modelowania dedykowanej platformy programistycznej do zrównoleglonego rozwiązywania zagadnień optymalizacyjnych w środowisku .NET. Jest to równoważne z udostępnieniem techniki tworzenia oprogramowania rozproszonego w wielu językach programowania, między innymi w C#, Visual Basic, ale również Fortran, Pascal, Java, Ada. Ważnym aspektem projektu jest możliwość zestawiania komputerów biurowych w potężne, wirtualne, rozproszone maszyny obliczeniowe bez zmieniania podstawowego ich przeznaczenia oraz ograniczania zakresu zastosowań.

The paper presents the concept of modelling of development platform dedicated to parallelized solving of optimization problems in the Microsoft .NET environment. This concept is an equivalent to the provision of distributed software development techniques in many programming languages, including C#, Visual Basic, as well as Fortran, Pascal, Java, Ada. An important aspect of the project is its ability to compile the desktop computer into a powerful virtual, distributed computing machine without changing their basic purpose and limiting their range of application.

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja wykorzystania platformy .NET, języka Python oraz IronPython, jego wydajnej implementacji dla tej platformy, przy tworzeniu systemu CASE, przeznaczonego do projektowania i analizy programów dla sterowników logicznych PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) i RLC (Reconfigurable Logic Controllers). Przedstawiono graficzny język SFC (Sequential Function Chart) oraz format jego reprezentacji tekstowej. Uzasadniono decyzję o wyborze środowiska przy projektowaniu systemu, a także omówiono wybrane zagadnienia związane z zapewnianiem rozszerzalności i automatyzacją aplikacji na platformie .NET. Przedstawiono wybrane mechanizmy pozwalające zrealizować funkcjonalność w tym zakresie.

The aim of this paper is to present the use of .NET Framework, Python programming language and IronPython, its high-performance implementation for .NET, in a CASE environment for design and analysis of programs for PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and RLCs (Reconfigurable Logic Controllers). The SFC graphical language and its textual representation is presented. Decision on choosing the environment for design of the system is explained and selected issues referring to application extensibility and automation are discussed.

W referacie przedstawiono sposób adaptacji istniejącego pakietu BDD (CUDD), napisanego w języku C/C++ dla środowiska UNIX, na platformę .NET. Opracowane przejście opiera się w głównej mierze na wykorzystaniu bibliotek DLL. Uzyskane wyniki potwierdzają dobrą jakość opracowanej transformacji, czego dowodem jest uzyskanie porównywalnego rezultatu dekompozycji funkcji boolowskiej dla funkcji znanych z literatury.

The paper presents a method of implementation of BDD package in .NET platform, originally designed for UNIX operating system. Described transformation consists in using mainly Dynamic Link Library. Obtained results proved its usefulness, what is confirmed by the outcome for literature example of Boolean function decomposition, which turned out to be comparable.

Uzasadniono wybór języków SFC, ST i FBD, z normy IEC 61131-3, jako narzędzi do specyfikacji behawioralnej i strukturalnej. Wskazano istotne zalety zastosowania platformy .NET i języka znaczników XML.

The aim of the paper is to introduce a general concept of CASE system for development system for logical controllers PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and RLC (Reconfigurable Logic Controllers). The motivation for choosing SFC, ST and FBD languages as tools for behavioral and structural specification of controllers is justified. Important advantages for .NET platform and XML usage are presented.
