Dla próbek trzech węgli aktywnych (węgiel otrzymany z mieszaniny odpadów polimerowych, Norit CNR115 i Chemviron WS480) wyznaczono metodą wagową w temp. 298, 323 i 343 K wysokociśnieniowe izotermy adsorpcji metanu do ciśnienia 15 MPa.

High-pressure MeH excess adsorption isotherms up to 15 MPa were detd. by a gravimetric method at 298 K, 323 K and 343 K for (i) activated C samples made of waste polymers, and 2 com. activated C samples: (ii) Norit CNR 115 and (iii) Chemviron WS480. The results were described by Dubinin-Radushkevich and Langmuir equations. A linear relationship between the max. of adsorption and inverse temp. was established. The micropore volumes for activted C calcd. from the MeH adsorption isotherm at 298K (i) 0.276, (ii) 0.317 and (iii) 0.294 cm³/g, were lower than those calcd. from low-temperature N₂ adsorption at 77.3 K: (i) 0.409, (ii) 0.553 and (iii) 0.398 cm³/g.
Anodically etched silicon in a hydrofluoric acid solution exhibits an efficient room temperature luminescence in the visible region. Origin of this luminescence is still not well understand. Natural explanation is the quantum cinfinement in small silicon crystalities, but surface states due to dangling bonds on the specific furfaces of porous silicon should play an important role in light emission in visible region. The specific surface area of porous silicon filn is very large (~ 200m²/cm³ for samples studied in this work) and sensitive for ambient gases. In this contribution changes of the photoluminenscence spectra of porous silicon samples in the presence of a variety of ambient gases N₂, He₂ and organic vaporous as methanol, acetone are presented.
