Steam turbines for supercritical power plants - design and operation problems

This paper regards design issues of large power output steam turbines for supercritical power plants. A special focus is set on features of turbine cycles, their parameters as well as on aerodynamical, material and strength problems. The second part of the paper presents an operation diagnostics system, which regards monitoring of stresses.
