Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest przestawienie różnych sposobów rozumienia pojęcia inteligentnego miasta i inteligentnego obywatela. Paradygmat teorii systemów pozwala dostrzec rolę mieszkańców, jako aktywnych podmiotów w miejskiej przestrzeni. Staje się to za sprawą dalszego rozwoju technologii informacyjnych i komunikacyjnych (ICT) i niemal powszechnego używania urządzeń mobilnych oraz aplikacji. Otwiera to nowe perspektywy współpracy w obrębie miast, wspierające ich zrównoważony rozwój. Równocześnie pojawiają się pytania o granice prywatności i ryzyko związane z istnieniem w sieci tak ogromnej liczby danych.

The aim of this paper is to present the various ways of understanding the notion of an intelligent town and intelligent citizen. The paradigm of systems theory allows noticing the role of residents as active subjects in the urban space. It is caused by a continued development of information and communications technology (ICT) as well as by close to common utilization of mobile devices and technologies. It brings new prospects of cooperation within the cities supporting their sustainable development. At the same time the questions arise about the limits of privacy and risk connected with the existence of such a great amount of data in the web.
