General principles for determining the contour of the embossing part in thread rolling dies, backed-off rollers for heads or special threading devices, as well as in rollers and segments used in the rolling of thread by the planetary method are provided. A methodology of the calculation of the basic dimensions of the embossing part is described on the example of a movable rolling die.
