EN

The article contains analysis of conducted research in an area of artificial neural networks application for bond rating. Four cases of the research are presented. The main purpose of the analysis is to answer the following questions: Do artificial neural networks based methods outperform classical methods? Can the problems stated in discussed research be solved by currently developed methods of neural networks optimization? What are the main directions of further research in the domain? Conducted in the article analysis covers following topics: problem statement, neural network architecture, methods of neural network architecture optimization, learning algorithms, size of training data sets, methods of preprocessing training data sets, and input data selection methods.
