Abstrakty

EN

The unit transformer is usually connected directly to the synchronous generator. The unit transformer is vulnerable to any voltage interferences, both from the power system and from the generator. The article discusses the failure of the unit transformer, which took place in one of the thermal power plants. This failure is the basis for characterization of selected disorders that could affect the reliability of operations of the transformer.
