Polymers in mining industries applications - a short review

Abstrakty

EN

A wide range of polymer-based materials arc used in the mining industry. Such materials could be applied for strata injection, rock scaling, cavity filling and rock bolting. The polymers used at mines are mainly: polyurethanes, phcnol-formaldchydc resins, urea-formaldehyde resins and unsaturatcd polyester resins. An overview of polymer-based materials used in the mining industry were given. Organic materials for mining as well as methods of application were described. The advantages and disadvantages of materials based on different polymers were presented.
