Artykuł składa się z trzech części. W pierwszej przedstawiono istotę, zasady i cele zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi w przedsiębiorstwie oraz zaprezentowano różnice i podobieństwa występujące między tradycyjnym zarządzaniem personelem a zarządzaniem zasobami ludzkimi. W części drugiej omówiono podmioty zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi. Określono ich kompetencje i rolę w procesie zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi. Część trzecią poświęcono strategicznym programom zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi.

The article deals with the problems connected with modern management of human resources, which is a specific philosophy of business, concerning the management of people in order to make the best use of them in the development of an enterprise. The first part presents the essence, the rules and aims of human resources management as well as similarities and differences between traditional personnel management and human resources management. The second part discusses subjects of human resources management in an enterprise. Their competence and role in the process of human resources management have been defined. The third part has been devoted to strategic programmes of human resources management.
