Abstrakty

EN

Float glass has a large practical application in the area of building. Its functions bacome more and more versatile. The application of float glass widens as the products is processed. Strengthened glasses and toughened glasses have increased application. The thermally and chemically strengthened glasses are not included among safety glasses but they are required when extremely strong esthetical conditions of glazing must be met, e.g. in glazing facades or structural glazing. The mechanical features of strengthened glasses are keeping between properties of annealed and thoughened glasses.
