W niniejszej pracy porównano wyniki obliczeń uzyskanych w oparciu o wybrane modele matematyczne przeznaczone do wyznaczania pola powierzchni styku oraz nacisków jednostkowych kół pojazdów rolniczych na glebę z wynikami badań eksperymentalnych. Przeprowadzone analizy wykazały zgodność większości modeli matematycznych z wynikami wykonanych badań. W przypadku niektórych modeli stwierdzono istotne różnice w stosunku do rezultatów uzyskanych w badaniach polowych.

The paper presents the comparison of the values of the area of contact surface and unit pressure of exerted onto soil by wheels of agricultural vehicles, calculated with the help of some chosen mathematical models, with results of experimental investigations. The conducted analyses showed the agreement of majority of mathematical models with results of executed investigations. In the case of some models essential differences in relation to results obtained in field investigations were identified.
