The article concern the quantitative need definition in the field of the current assets from financial strategy point of view. There were shown the limitation occurring in that process, and also the mathematical model making possible to define the demand quantity for the current assets.

Artykuł dotyczy ilościowego określania potrzeb przedsiębiorstw w zakresie środków obrotowych z punktu widzenia strategii finansowej. Ukazano w nim ograniczenia występujące w tym procesie, a także model matematyczny, umożliwiający określenie optymalnej wielkości zapotrzebowania na środki obrotowe.
