Abstrakty
incorporated into various coating systems, have been shown to provide effective corrosion protection for metal surfaces, even when only thin microscopic layers are deposited. A finding of key importance is that the inhibitors partly take on the role of corrosion protection pigments. The inhibiting effect also is obtained for fluid and for cured systems.
