The purpose of this paper is to highlight the experiences of functioning of German logistic centers (GVZ). The main attention is given to the models and functions of management bodies of German GVZ. The crucial part of considerations is to demonstrate multidimensional effects (economical and environmental) of functioning of logistic centers in Germany and the concept of networking of GVZ’s.
