International programmes of corrosion monitoring and application of their results in Poland

Abstrakty
Przedstawiono cele i zakres badań prowadzonych w programach International Programme of Effects on Materials including Historic and Cultural Monuments (UN/ECE ICP -Materials) i Multi-assess oraz udział w nim Instytutu Mechaniki Precyzyjnej. Opisano wyniki zastosowania danych z monitorowania korozji atmosferycznej na stacjach korozyjnych IMP do modelowania i prognozowania korozji stali i cynku na podstawie równań opracowanych podczas trwania tych programów.
The aims and scope of investigations which have been run in International Programme of Effects on Materials including Historic and Cultural Monuments (UN/ECE ICP -Materials) also in Multi-asses Programme and participation of Institute Precision Mechanics in them are presented. The results of prediction of steel and zinc corrosion losses modelled on the base of chosen equations formulated in the frame of these programmes are described. Data have been taken from IMP corrosion monitoring sites.
