ViaCon Polska offers four wall systems, including ViaWall A type 1. In the entire structure of the retaining wall the element most vulnerable to deterioration of parameters during operation is the steel component. This type of structure has been introduced and largely used worldwide already in the 1970s. The structures have been examined for loss of thickness of reinforcement during operation. Test results have indicated that the actual losses of thickness of reinforcement in relation to calculation assumptions are considerably smaller, even if the backfill parameters do not meet the standard value.
