Artykuł prezentuje możliwości wprowadzenia usług telemedycznych na platformie cyfrowych sieci komórkowych. Przedstawione zostały podstawy telemedycyny oraz korzyści z niej wypływające. Zaprezentowano model sieci telemedycznej ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem możliwości przesyłania zapisów EKG i specyfiki transmisji danych w sieci GSM. Zwrócono uwagę na aspekty techniczno-ekonomiczne wdrażania tego typu usług.

The paper overviews possibilities of the telematic services implementation in digital cellular networks. A brief introduction to telemedicine is presented. A model of telemedical network, focused on ECG signals transmission and GSM network features is also proposed. Moreover, some technical and economical aspects of telemedical networks are pointed out.

In this paper we present a distributed telematic platform which is implemented to support health information management and innovative services to people suffering from allergies, asthma and rhinitis. The developed system establishes a trans-European information network offering specialized services to health professionals, patients and the public, by collecting, processing and distributing specialized data and informational content. An integrated monitoring and reporting system of aero-allergens is used to collect Pan-European environmental data and produce allergy maps, forecasting and danger level alerts. Informational content and e-learning resources are also consolidated and combined with personalized health management services. Through the created network, health information is supplied to sufferers via WWW and SMS technologies, and informational and learning resources are offered to health professionals. Sets of services were implemented in pilot form and offered to real users for testing purposes. The results were encouraging towards expansion to fully blown service at a Pan-European level.

The article deals with the process of ITS services deployment in the road transport. The process is fuli of uncertainties. Scenario thinking is most helpful in clarifying the possible environment, in which the process has to be developed. The methodology of creating alternative scenarios and strategies is presented. The starting point for the scenarios is the model of ITS deployment process in Poland presented at the first Transport Systems Telematics Seminar in November 2001.

W artykule przedstawia się proces upowszechniania usług telematycznych w transporcie drogowym. Proces ten jest pełen niepewności. Myślenie w kategoriach scenariuszy jest bardzo pomocne w objaśnieniu możliwych warunków, w jakich się będzie on odbywał. Przedstawiono metodologię tworzenia alternatywnych scenariuszy oraz strategii. Punktem wyjścia dla tworzenia tych scenariuszy jest model upowszechniania inteligentnych systemów transportowych (ITS), zaprezentowany na pierwszej Międzynarodowej Konferencji Telematyka Systemów Transportowych w listopadzie 2001 r.

In order to conduct analysis for the evaluation of benefits derived from Transport Telematic Services (TTS), supporting decisions about architecture design options, it is necessary to establish a characterization framework. This study identifies potentially relevant TTSs for Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Transport, potential users and domain of usage for the services and present these in a useful framework for conducting analysis toward a holistic understanding of telematic services e.g. impact analysis, benefits analysis etc. An illustrative example employing the framework has been presented.
