1. The process of globalization could be considered a macrosocial process, whichhas nonlinear development and latent components that display in definite periodof time. Besides, operative analysis of this process is complicated by precipitancy, continuity and ambiguity.2. Unipolar world, which started to form in 90th, beside the traditional groups of„globalists” and „antiglobalists”, led to the mosaic contradictionary picture of theworld, where nonstandard conflicts are especially dangerous. Moreover, someresearchers, for instance A.I. Prigozhin, use term „world war 4” in the attemptsof analysis of Muslim extreme groups’ collision with the USA and Europeancountries.3. Many researchers of globalization are inclined to conclude, that while entrainedin economical analysis of globalization consequences and formation of the internationaljob market, we missed not less important ecological, migrational andespecially spiritual problems of the contemporary mankind. More and more researcherscome to the conclusion, that it’s impossible to solve ripened problemswithout overcoming dangerous degradation of whole nations and sharp decreaseof spirituality level.4. On the background of the complicating global processes of essential modificationof many social groups’ and whole nations’ values takes place. Out of theoreticalcategory Durkheim’s anomy transformed into a practical reality, that representativesof practically all social groups come across („many old values don’t workany more, but the new ones still haven’t formed”), that’s why sociological researcheswhich trace changes of social values become especially actual.5. In researches on globalization processes an important component is the analysisof co-existence, antagonism, interference of certain national cultures and formingglobal culture. Traditional research on the personality’s socialization gains newsense. According to the mentioned circumstances, special significance is gainedby separate personality’s and social group’s saving most basic values and traditions, together with mastering progressive elements, which could be taken from

After analysing of the main goals of globalization, there was clear, that the globalization tendencies having contemporary form are quite unable to build the new worldwide stable reality. The global cooperation has been assumed as the general principle of globalization. GIS as a large database is capable to collect information of any global events, than the structure of GIS should be determined properly from methodological point of view. The ontological methodology can classify any global events and conclude the adequate GIS structure.

As defined globalization movement of goods, capital, the movement of people and ideas across the world. The economic dimension of globalization is based on the disappearance of barriers to trade between countries. That disappearance of barriers is a growing process which comprises more areas of the globe, although it should be emphasized that a variety of reasons, some areas of the world remain excluded from it. Globalization is not a new phenomenon, because in the history of the world, people have always traded with each other, traveling and got to know each other. Moreover, in the history of mankind, there are periods in which the processes taking place already similar in some respects to contemporary globalization. Show here can rise to the Roman Empire, the colonization of the New World and the creation of the United States and other countries postcolonial. Today, due to advances in technology, these processes occur much faster and on a larger scale, including, as the name suggests, the entire globe.

The crisis is a notion frequently mentioned in the life of current society. The crisis is commonly spoken about in relation to economy, less is said about crisis in society, family or politics, but today we use to speak about crisis in values, traditions and individual conscience. If we accept this approach we can say that the crisis is in everything. To master principles of communication in crisis, to be aware of their ethical dimensions are inevitable for any professional helping other persons. The lack of cognition in this field can lead for example to such absurd situations in which the rescuer helps a drawing man though he cannot swim himself. To draw a detailed picture, we will be dealing only with one helping profession-the profession of a policeman. The reason for this selection is that the policemen are usually the first to solve crisis situations, especially in interpersonal relations. We have narrowed our investigation to the most frequent crisis situations and their ethical, social and optimal solutions within the frame of policeman performance. We would like to help others, who would like to be involved in crisis intervention issue, and thus their communication via model situation training would not only be ethical, but primarily efficient reaching satisfactory results.

The author considers the relationship between the concepts of globalization and glocalization, and causes of increasingly growing social opposition to globalization as it understands the western civilization. He emphasizes the differences existing in the development processes between universalism and unification. States also, that in the foreseeable future attempts at the processes of globalization central regulation, by some kind of „world government” and its agencies, are unrealistic. In his opinion, this does not exclude different forms of coordination of such processes at the lower, inter-regional, regional and local levels. A special role in this regard may play glocalizaction processes.
PL

Since 1950, from the time of rapid acceleration of the globalization process, there have been significant changes in the sphere of human identity. Human identity became liquidated and detached from the communities. The model of an individualized individual identity was developed. This process creates a number of dangers in the personal and social areas. The feeling of lack and loneliness increases, and all this process gave birth to – by a Eric’s Fromm – conception of escape from freedom. This article is an attempt to describe these dangers and suggest measures to reduce their impact.

Globalization processes together with other factors e.g. tumultuous character and changeability of economic life, countries' political and economic integration, growing importance of ecological issues) influence the behavior of market subjects, both producers as well as end consumers. More specifically, globalization causes changes in the consumption styles of purchasers and these changes can be observed, among others, in the following trends: -homogenization and heterogenization of consumer behaviour, -ecologization, -ethnocentrism and internationalism of consumers, -pro-quality orientation. In the paper author presents the findings of the research entitled "Polish shopping. What influences a client's choice?" conducted by TNS OBOP in 2003 and own research on the group of 32 high-tech companies.

The phenomenon of globalisation is dynamic, and develops mostly through market-related mechanisms and information technology. Globalization creates new social circumstances and influences all aspects of culture. Globalization processes and population migrations bring about new relationships and enable intercultural exchange. At first, the economic issues were considered central for globalization processes. In time, cultural change was acknowledged as equally important. Recognizing the economic and the cultural aspects of the globalization phenomena made the researchers launch studies on the influence of the market-related mechanisms on culture. The deeper insight into the cultural aspect of globalization enabled highlighting the personalistic aspect of culture, that is the value of the human being as a source of any social order and the foundation of each cultural system. Considering the phenomenon of globalization together with the impact it has on culture justifies the use of the concept of „globalization of culture.”

Modern theoreticians of Global History differ in opinion as to the definition of Globalization and up till now there is no single definition, which would satisfy most scientists. Some of them believe this phenomenon to be irreal because it is impossible to clearly separate it from other social processes and phenomena or because it do not has clearly defined place in the geographical space. In most cases Globalization are understood as: We are living today in an age of rapid globalization. Its pace has accelerated in the past several decades, particularly since the end of the Cold War. The main thrust for globalization involved a high degree of Westernization, it by no means resulted in homogenization but everywhere produced diverse responses to the West rooted in indigenous cultures. In fact, we have witnessed homogeneity resulting from processes of globalization and at the some time increasing heterogeneity. Globalization thus is extremely complex and variegated, on the one hand indeed leading to high degrees of homogeneity in economic organization, technological and scientific developments and even lifestyles following Western patterns, on the other hand to marked divergences from Western outlooks and practices and even to pronounced resistance to Western influences. In this article we intend to examine the transformation of historical thinking and writing within this larger global context. Globalization is realized in the form of bilateral, multilateral and collective relation. Global System is usually understood as hierarchically structurized integral complex of actors of international relation, which are interconnected by constant relations. Until the early 21th century the investigation of Global History was performed within a whole number of social science: philosophy, history, sociology, legal and economic sciences. The theory of globalization is a science, which tries to logically and reasonably interpret the most essential phenomena and processes as well as interrelation between them using its own methods. Conflict and cooperation are the most important manifestation of the state of international relations and logically proceed from structural peculiarities of current global system.

The increased international competition amongst higher education institutions caused by rapid globalization now requires universities to evaluate, alter or devise new and innovative strategies which will enable them to boost their international activities. There is a need to gain a competitive advantage in attracting more local and international students, involving staff in international exchange programs, conducting joint research, establishing collaborative degree and exchange programs, etc. This ongoing study aims to propose a synthesized conceptual framework of higher education internationalization which links strategic management concepts with higher education, thus consolidating various components by taking into account influential factors such as the dynamics of the external academic environment and organizational resources. The framework outlined in this paper provides a good basis for further empirical research as well as a practical planning scheme for higher education managers.

Obecne zmiany społeczne powodują tak ogromne przeobrażenia w wielu sferach życia człowieka, że coraz bardziej widoczna staje się konieczność przeorientowania dotychczasowych form i środków reklamy. Przede wszystkim postępująca indywidualizacja i zróżnicowanie konsumentów skłaniają twórców reklamy do operowania bardziej zindywidualizowanymi formami (In-ternet) i środkami reklamy (podkreślanie indywidualności konsumenta, swobody wyboru, oryginalności wykonania czy nowych własności użytkowych). Indywidualizacji i zróżnicowaniu działań człowieka towarzyszą jednakże dwie sprzeczne tendencje: ź tendencja do dezintegracji stylu życia i towarzysząca temu skłonność do bezrefleksyjnych wyborów konsumenckich; dająca nowe szanse reklamie emocjonalnej, działającej nawet na pograniczu z podświadomością ź tendencja do poszukiwania własnego stylu życia wraz ze skłonnością do świadomych i refleksyjnych wyborów konsumenckich; prowadząca do rozwoju reklamy informacyjnej.
