The 14th-century Gothic hall churches in Drawsko Pomorskie and Dobiegniew (the territory of the former Neumark, present-day West Pomeranian and Lubusz Voivodeships respectively) have side portals richly decorated with ceramic reliefs. In both cases they were probably made under the influence of the so-called Ascanian workshop, builders and sculptors of which erected many churches in the Margraviate of Brandenburg, including Chorin Abbey. Some of the sculptures from the northern portal in Drawsko Pomorskie are similar to decoration of the stalls in the Co-Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kołobrzeg.

Artykuł przedstawia przebudowę istniejącego mostu żelbetowego zlokalizowanego na drodze krajowej w Drawsku Pomorskim (woj. zachodniopomorskie). Przedstawiono modernizację płytowego mostu żelbetowego z zastosowaniem górnej płyty wzmacniającej i przy zmianie układu statycznego.

The strengthening and widening of an existing RC bridge located on a trunk road in a county town is described. The location of the bridge on a national highway required the introduction of a higher level of safety and load capacity for further service life. The bridge needed to be strengthened to higher loading class and widened for sufficient sidewalks. The existing RC slab span was used as a core element in an new wider span. The added wider top concrete overslab was made continuous with the abutments, and the bridge became integral. The bridge capacity was increased to the highest loading class in Poland. The structural and technological issues related to widening and strengthening of the structure are outlined.
