The statutes of the vicars of the Virgin Mary collegiate church in Wislica were issued by the local chapter, with knowledge and concens of the vicars, on the 13th of August 1442. They have survived in a copy made by Boleslaw Ulanowski in the 19th c. They set the norms for the lithurgical obligations of the vicars concerning their saying the morning mass and the High Mass, as well as chanting canonical hours, both day and nocturnal. The vicars were encouraged to proper execution of the officium and to distribution of the lithurgical obligations among hebdomadarius, evangelista, epistolarius, maturista and rector. The punishments for not doing their duties varied from admonition, through losing at least part of the distribution, to fines (but their amount was not set).
