The examples of analyses the seepage processes which leads to piping and erosion with standard numerical procedures used for evaluation of the structure and soil beds state for small water plant are presented. The aim it was choosing the optima] protecting solution for of the structure. The main conditions depend to the well-documented state diagnosis, monitoring systems of parameters, checking able models system. The examples of the methodology of treatment together with the results of calculations and conclusions connecting with predicted dangerousness and rejecting the cause of arise are presented.

Kaskada rzeki Raduni jest cennym zabytkiem budownictwa wodnego. Mamy tu przegląd rozmaitych konstrukcji jazowych z ich zamknięciami, zapór ziemnych, kanałów, sztolni i rurociągów. Zobaczyć można rzadko stosowaną w Polsce turbinę Peltona w elektrowni Bielkowo. W artykule przedstawiono oryginalną konstrukcję i zasadę sterowania zamknięciem segmentowym z przeciwwagą w zależności od poziomu górnej wody. Często spotykanym rozwiązaniem przy modernizacji i remontach wysłużonych konstrukcji jest wymiana napędów na nowe o konstrukcji współczesnej. W tym wypadku podjęto decyzję odbudowy według pierwotnego projektu. Celem artykułu jest zwrócenie uwagi na zabytkowy charakter obiektów hydrotechnicznych na rzece Raduni, wartych zachowania w istniejącej postaci dla następnych pokoleń jako przykładu rozwoju myśli technicznej.

The cascade of the river Radunia is a valuable monument of hy-drotechnics. We have here a review of various weir constructions with their locks, earth dams, channels, drifts and pipelines. In the hydropower plant Bietkowo one can see the rarely used in Poland Pelton's turbine. The paper presents an original construction and principles of operation of the radial gate with counterweight according to the level of the headwater. In the majority of cases the solutions of modernization and repairs of the worn out constructions are based on replacement of driving gears by new and modern once. In this case the decision has been undertaken to carry out the reconstruction according to the original plans. The aim of the paper is to draw attention to the monumental character of hydrotechnical objects on the river Radunia which are worthy of preservation in the present form for future generations as an example od development of technical ideas.
