The paper presents the model for measuring the vibration parameter of the cushion-rigid human seat and for presenting the resulting data on the remote graphical display. Some programming examples of graphics display controller are presented. To transfer the data the model uses a wireless, RF communication in Tx/Rx duplex mode and ZigBee transceivers. The ZigBee coordinator module is connected to 32-bit Cortex microcontroller for ability to process the results and to present them graphically. ZigBee technology can be used as an alternative one to other vibration research techniques.

W artykule zaprezentowano metodę badań szkodliwych dla człowieka drgań generowanych przez pojazd. Kierowca pojazdu wyposażony został w czujniki, tworzące sieć sensoryczną. Akwizycja danych przeprowadzana jest w oparciu o technologię ZigBee. Urządzenia RFD (Reduced Function Devices) wykorzystują dane otrzymywane z 3-osiowych akcelerometrów, które następnie przetwarzane są przez 32-bitowy mikrokontroler Cortex M3. Uzyskane z RFD dane mogą być prezentowane na graficznym wyświetlaczu (280x128).

Poprawne określenie długości roboczej kanału zębowego jest podstawą prawidłowego leczenia kanałowego zęba, określającego jakość leczenia i komfort pacjenta. Opracowanie przybliża zagadnienia związane z elektrycznymi metodami wyznaczenia długości roboczej kanału korzeniowego zęba, z wykorzystaniem urządzeń Apex Locator, zwanych Endometrami. Zostały omówione metody pomiarów i zagadnienia techniczne związane z działaniem tych urządzeń, oraz opisana ewolucja elektronicznych endometrów.

Correct determination of the working length of a root canal is the basis for proper root canal treatment, affecting the quality of treatment and patient comfort. This paper explains the issues related to electronic determination of the root canal length using Apex Locator devices, called Ednometer. There are discussed the methods and technical issues associated with the operation of these devices and there is described the evolution of electronic methods for measuring the length of the root canal.

W artykule opisano metodę opracowania algorytmu sterowania instalacją solarną o podstawowym wariancie hydraulicznym z wykorzystaniem symulacji w programie MATLAB-Simulink-RTWT. Przeprowadzono logiczną (symulacja off-line) i sprzętową (symulacja on-line według metody Rapid Prototyping) weryfikację poprawności działania sterownika. Przedstawiono sposób walidacji rozwiązania na stanowisku laboratoryjnym.

The paper describes a method for compiling a control algorithm for a solar installation with basic variant hydraulic simulation, using the MATLAB-Simulink-RTWT program. The methodology of Model-Based Design was applied. The solar heating system with the control system is illustrated in Fig. 1. The action of the control system is shown in the block diagram (Fig. 2). A logical (off line) simulation was conducted in MATLAB- Simulink in order to verify the proper operation of the virtual controller prototype, as illustrated in the flowchart of Fig. 4. The simulation showed the correctness of the prototype operation, which calculated the correct value of the output signal when given specific values of the input signal. The input and output signals during simulation are shown in Fig. 5. Fig. 6 presents the way of validating solutions for the laboratory - on-line simula-tion by the method of Rapid Prototyping. The block diagram of the control algorithm in MATLAB-Simulink used during the simulation is shown in Fig. 7. A post in the laboratory for on-line hardware simulation with elements of the real object connected to a virtual loopback control system is presented in View 1. The on-line simulation did not show any errors in the prototype driver. With specific signals from the measuring elements, prototype calculated the control signal for a pump-Executive solar installation correctly.

The article considers the image binarization process for its further recognition. During binarization of the image with non-uniform illumination some noise appears which makes it impossible to select features in the image. Considering the QR-code image as an example, Otsu method, Niblack method and Bernsen method were analyzed. Some errors in binarization of the image with non-uniform illumination were detected in the process of application of these methods. Therefore, the necessity of finding a better method arose. The presented method of adaptive binarization is a simple extension of Bernsen method, the main idea of which is the comparison of each pixel with arithmetical mean of pixels in its environment and simultaneous application of integral presentation of the image.

Artykuł prezentuje proces binaryzacji obrazu dla jego późniejszej analizy. Podczas binaryzacji nierównomiernie oświetlonego obrazu pojawia się szum, który uniemożliwia przetwarzanie obrazu. Na przykładzie kodu QR przeanalizowano metody Otsu, Niblacka i Bernsena. Błędy w binaryzacji obrazu z nierównomiernym oświetleniem wykryto w procesie stosowania tych metod. Pojawiła się w związku z tym konieczność znalezienia lepszej metody. Przedstawiona metoda adaptacyjnego obcinania (binaryzacji) jest prostym rozszerzeniem metody Bernsena, której główną ideą jest porównanie każdego piksela ze średnią arytmetyczną pikseli w jego środowisku i zastosowanie jednoczesnej integralnej prezentacji obrazu.

The paper presents some problems concerning the tests of electromagnetic disturbances produced by renewable energy sources. There is a description of the disturbances types, focusing mainly on impulse disturbances and the possible impact on people and the environment. Next, the evaluation methods and measurement equipment are discussed, followed by results of measurements of disturbances occurring in the main power circuits of wind and small hydro-electric power plants.

The topic of using tribolectrics as a promising source of energy has been actualized in this article. The data on the main types of generators in triboelectricity have been analyzed. The schematic solutions for the application of tribogenerators in various devices based on electronic modules of various manufacturers have been presented. The conclusion about the high efficiency of the use of tribogenerators in applied devices, when combined with other energy sources and accumulating it with super capacitors has been made.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę porównawczą pomiaru poziomu mleka w kolumnie autonomicznego aparatu udojowego, jako wymierną informację o chwilowym objętościowym natężeniu wypływu mleka ze strzyka wymienia krowy. Badania laboratoryjne przeprowadzono z wykorzystaniem trzech różnych czujników poziomu cieczy. Opracowano prototypy dwóch wersji rezystancyjnych układów pomiaru poziomu cieczy, których działanie porównano z czujnikiem Sensortechnic – CLC100. Wybrana metoda pomiarowa może być stosowana w bioinżynierii zwierząt; pozwoli dodatkowo na pomiar przewodności elektrycznej mleka. Ta wielkość fizyczna pozwala wykryć przypadki kliniczne u poszczególnych zwierząt w stadzie. Na podstawie informacji o poziomie mleka w kolektorze, w bloku funkcyjnym zaprogramowanym w sterowniku logicznym, obliczane jest chwilowe objętościowe natężenie wypływu mleka z ćwiartki gruczołu mlekowego krowy. Precyzyjny pomiar tej wielkości umożliwia sterowanie parametrami doju maszynowego krów, dopasowanymi do każdego strzyka wymienia krowy, z uwzględnieniem cech osobniczych w zakresie oddawania mleka.

The peper presents a comparative analysis measuring the level of milk in the column autonomous milking cluster, as tangible information about the momentary volume flow of milk outflow from a teat of a cow. Laboratory tests were carried out for the three liquid level sensors. Prototypes of two versions of the resistive circuits liquid level developed, whose function was compared with a sensor sensortechnic – CLC100. The chosen method of measurement is related to the bioengineering of animals, will also allow for the measurement of electrical conductivity of milk. This physical quantity enables to detect the clinical cases in individual animals in the herd. On the basis of information on the level of milk in a collector, function block programmed logic controller, the instantaneous volumetric flow of milk from the udder quarters of a cow is calculated. Precise measurement of this quantity allows one to control the parameters of machine milking cows, matched to each teat of the cow, taking into account ontogenetic differences in the putting milk.

The paper proposes a new electropulse apparatus for processing natural raw materials. The temperature of the crushing-and-reducing assembly of an electropulse plant is found. The results of ore crushing are presented and optimal engineering factors are offered. The elemental analysis of the test material is obtained. It is reported that the electropulse processing at the reduction stage made for significant increase in the content of non-ferrous and rare metals.
