The naval education in Poland in the interwar time was one of the most important govermental idea. It was not only education and preparing for the profession, it was also an important element of education of the young generation of patriots. Its institutional development and evolution of the implemented training programmes enabled training of the Polish Naval personnel in accordance with the best education programmes in the contemporary world. It was supposed to prepare officers and sailors to act as “ambassadors” of Poland at seas and oceans. The favor of local authorities and the sympathetic attitude of local population in the cities where the schools and educational centres of the Navy were established played huge role in the process of education . It was a way people expressed their gratitude for employment and learning opportunities. Social relations and mutual respect led to these schools and educational centres being remembered and recorded in the history of cities and the Navy as playing an important role in building the future naval education in Poland.
