Concentration axial profiles in a column bed of the component A removed from waste gases stream by biofiltration have been presented in the paper. The mathematical model of gas biofiltration has been solved analytically for the analogous to Monod kinetic equation. Mathematical modelling results dealing with the concentration distribution of component A contaminating waste gases stream in a biofilter are presented. The effect of kinetic parameters, superficial gas velocity and biofilter diameter on concentration profiles was analysed.
