Na przykładzie baterii koksowniczej nr 2 w Koksowni Przyjaźń zaprezentowano analizę parametrów pracy przepustnic sterujących strumieniem gazu opałowego. Przedstawiono zasady doboru przepustnic gazowych oraz wpływ warunków pracy, takich jak przepływ gazu, średnica rurociągu i panujące w nim ciśnienia na jej charakterystykę. Wykazano nieskuteczność regulacji przepływu gazu dla źle dobranej średnicy przepustnicy. Dla typowego zakresu pracy rurociągów gazowych baterii nr 2 w Koksowni Przyjaźń opisano obecne niedomagania zainstalowanych przepustnic oraz sposób ich likwidacji.

The article presents, based on coke oven battery number 2 in Przyjaźń coke plant, the analysis of operation parameters of chokes which control a stream of a heating gas. The rules of gas chokes selection are presented, as well as the impact of operation conditions, such as gas flow, a diameter of a pipeline and the pressure in it, on their characteristics. Ineffectiveness of a regulation of wrongly chosen diameter of a choke has been proved. For a typical range of operation of the pipelines of the battery number 2 in Przyjaźń coke plant, the current malfunctions of chokes installed have been presented, as well as the method of their removal.

W kwietniu br. uruchomiono w Polsce jedną z najnowocześniejszych baterii koksowniczych. Przed rozpoczęciem jej rozruchu istniały jednak poważne obawy co do stanu baterii wybudowanej w 1991 r. i od tamtego czasu przetrzymywanego w stanie nierozgrzanym masywu ceramicznego tej baterii. Dla oceny możliwości bezawaryjnego rozgrzewania baterii przeprowadzono dokładną oceną stanu ceramiki, pobrano próbki zabudowanych materiałów i zapraw. Dla roz-grzewania baterii opracowano specjalne procedury. Głównym ich celem było ograniczenie możliwości wzajemnych niekontrolowanych przemieszczeń kształtek na długości, szerokości i wysokości całego masywu ceramicznego, a także ograniczenie ruchu masywu na warstwach poślizgowych. Ze względu na wydłużony czas rozgrzewania opracowano i i wdrożono technikę chłodzenia płyty dyszowej. Jednocześnie w tym okresie dokonano profilaktycznego napylania ścian komór , dla usunięcia drobnych nieszczelności. Zastosowana technologia rozgrzewania okazała się bardzo skuteczna. W okresie rozgrzewania nic stwierdzono żadnych poważniejszych usterek. Oddano do eksploatacji obiekt pełnosprawny, osiągający już dziś wysokie parametry cieplno-produkcyjne.

This April one of the most modern coke oven batter was started -up in Poland. There were serious doubts before commencing of its start-up as to the technical condition of the battery's ceramic bloc, constructed in 199 and maintained in a cold condition since that time. In order to assess the possibility of heating up of the battery without a break down the thorough assessment of the ceramic status was carried out. And the samples of the built-in materials and mortars were taken. Special procedures worked out for the battery heating were worked out. Their main aim was to reduce the possibility of mutual uncontrolled displacements of tiles along the Length, breadth and height of the whole ceramic block, as well as the reduction of the block movement along slip planes. Due to extended time of heating , the nozzle plate cooling technology was claborated and implemented. Concurrently the protective spraying of the chambers walls was carried out to remove minor Ieak. The applied heating up technology has proved to bc very efficient. No significant failures within the chatting up period were noted. Fully efficient object was put into operation achieving today high thermal and production parameters.

Omówiono problemy związane z remontem trzonu pieca czynnej baterii koksowniczej z dolnym doprowadzeniem gazu opałowego. Przedstawiono ogólne zasady postępowania przy jego renowacji oraz szczegółowy opis opracowanej i wdrożonej metody wymiany załamanego trzonu jednego z pieców baterii typu PWR-68. Opisana metoda, uwzględniająca różnice rozszerzalności części podlegającej odbudowie i części pozostawianej do dalszej eksploatacji, polega na trwałym rozdzieleniu odbudowywanej ceramiki warstwą poślizgową, zmianie jej gabarytów i wkomponowaniu ściśle określonych poprzecznych szczelin dylatacyjnych.

The problem conntected with repairing of the heart of coke oven battery with bottom-supply of heating gas has been discussed. The main rule of the renovation procedures and the detailed description of worked out and implemented method of broken heart replacing for coke oven battery PWR-63 type has been shown. Described method take into consideration the expansion differences between new ceramics (the subject of repairing) and the old one (parts left for further exploitation). The method consists in total separation of reconstructed ceramics by slide layer, change of its overall dimension and using of precisely designed expansion gaps.

Zachowanie więc dobrego stanu technicznego istniejących baterii i utrzymanie pełnej dyspozycyjności produkcyjnej jest koniecznością, decydującą o dalszej egzystencji koksowni. Przedstawiono nowoczesne i skuteczne technologie remontowe gwarantujące wysoką jakość napraw i znaczące wydłużenie żywotności ceramiki. Trwałe uszczelnienie masywu ceramicznego ogranicza inflintację gazu surowego do układu grzewczego baterii i bezpośredno do powietrza. W wyniku czego następuje poprawa warunków opa! koksowania i innych procesów technologicznych, a przez to korzystania zmiana w oddziaływaniu baterii na środowisko.

The share of older batteries increases in the global possession of the Word cokeries. The reason consists in resignation from expensive investments and restrictive ecological standards for new objects. Thus, the maintenance of good technical condition of existing batteries and maintenance of a complete production readiness is the necessity deciding abaut a future existence of coking plants. The paper presents modern and effective repair technologies quarantining high quality of repairs and considerable extension of the lifetime of the ceramics. Permanent sealig of ceramic massive limits infiltration of raw gas to heating system of the battery and directly into the air. In the result of that improvement of burning conditions occurs as well as condition of coking and technological processes and thus favourable change in the impact the battery upon the environment.
