The role of historic heritage in market economy has got dual character. On the one hand historic heritage is the legacy of physical artifacts inherited from past generations, maintained in the present and bestowed for the benefit of future generations and therefore they build the spirit of national pride and play social functions. On the other hand they can be recognized as market products which support economic development of regions and countries influencing following sectors of economy: tourism and investments. These are main reasons to preserve, conserve and protect historic objects. Although Poland can be characterized with various historic heritage, currently this heritage is in poor condition. Therefore the pressure should be put in this scope. The article discusses various ways of financing heritage reservation, taking into account EU funds.

The article concerns main determinants influencing the development of the product's market. The main objective of the article is the analysis of those factors which are main determinants for the market of reverse mortgage. The demand for this product is the result of various factors which can be classified into 3 groups. The first group is the situation on the real estate market, including liquidity of the market and financing the purchases. The second group of determinants is demographic situation in a country. The main aspect is age structure of the society and share of retired and their material and financial status. The third group which is the most difficult to be estimated are culture and psychological conditions. All of these factors can be either the catalyst or the barrier for the reverse mortgage's market development.

Croatia is becoming the 28th member of the European Union on July 1st, 2013. Croatia has gone a long way from a socialist republic to an independent country recognized as one of the economic tigers of the Western Balkans in the first decade of the 21st century. Croatia has been hit by the global crisis, which turned out to be a huge exter-nal shock for the region of the Western Balkans. Although it does not enter the economy through the direct channels, as local banks have not been engaged in toxic assets trade, but indirect channels, like the decrease of FDI, which deepens foreign trade deficits, slow credit growth or decrease of remittance which lead to economic disturbances during the last phase of the European integration process. Small economies, like Croatia, are exposed much more to the effects of any dis-turbances on the international scene. They are dependent on foreign trade and the inflow of FDI, while their demand and inflation rate are affected by the pace of changes in big economies. The article addresses the problem of economic development in the country which needs to deal with a problem of the economic crisis infection and the EU integration process. The article studies the economic situation in Croatia which is the consequence of a recovery plan undertaken by the Croatian government.

Przykładem takich rozwiązań jest e-banking, który stanowi przedmiot wielu badań. W artykule został podjęty problem rozwoju innowacji w bankowości na przykładzie e-bankingu. Posłużono się przykładem Chorwacji, która jest 28. państwem członkowskim Unii Europejskiej, a jednocześnie jej gospodarka, w tym sektor bankowy, podlega transformacji systemowej.

The role of banking sector in the economy is undoubted. The evolution of this sector is determined by many various factors, whereas modern IT innovations play a significant role. The example may be e-banking which is objective of many researches. The article addresses the issue of e-banking and the banking sector's performance. It analysis the development of e-banking in Croatia. The country has been chosen because it is the youngest member of European Union, it is still transforming it's economy into market system.
