W artykule przedstawiono wyniki analiz górnojurajskiego basenu geotermalnego pomiędzy Włoszczową a Myślenicami. Analizy dotyczyły oceny głębokości kompleksu, wskazania stref o korzystnych parametrach zbiornikowych, temperatur zakumulowanych wód, określenia warunków przepływu wód, ich mineralizacji oraz potencjalnych mocy termicznych. Stwierdzono, że basen górnej jury jest wyraźnie predysponowany do wykorzystania jako zbiornik wód niskotemperaturowych (20-30oC) w systemach pomp ciepła. Optymalny obszar dla tego typu wykorzystania to NW strefa analizowanego obszaru (rejon Szczekocin), gdzie wody ze względu na duże wydajności i wysłodzenie mogą służyć zarówno do celów geotermalnych jak i konsumpcyjnych.

The paper presents results of analyses of Upper Jurassic geothermal basin extending between Włoszczowa and Myślenice. Analyses were related to depth estimation the Upper Jurassic top, determination of reservoir zones, temperatures of waters, flow conditions, mineralization and thermal power in some locations. It was established that the Upper Jurassic waters are a feasible energy resource for heat pump systems. The optimal field for this purposes is NWzone near Szczekociny town, where big free-outflows and potable waters enable using the waters for both heating and consumption

The paper discusses the geological and technical aspects of geothermal energy utilization in south-east Poland, such as the availability of thermal aquifers and the techniques for putting the latter into practical use. The geological and geothermal features of the region are presented within the context of existent aquifers whose geothermal resources could be used for heating and recreation. Particulary favourable hydrogeological conditions exist in the Inner Carpathians, in the Podhale Trough, where one geothermal plant and thermal pools that exploit geothermal energy can be found. Equally interesting are the areas north of the Cracow-Tarnów-Rzeszów line, where in the Tertiary, Mesozoic and Paleozoic aquifers of the Miechów Trough and the Carpathian Foredeep a water temperature ranges from 20 to 60 °C (in Poland, thermal water is defined as a water with well-head temperature of above 20 °C). The paper presents technological solutions for the recovery and management of heat in this area, together with the examples of how heat pumps and combined heat and power units are used in Poland. In order to assess the geothermal potential of a given area, we must first determine whether the extraction of geothermal heat there is economically viable. To answer this question we must consider two basic elements, i.e. the type of thermal aquifer involved and the technological solutions that can be applied to utilize the source [1], [2].

Wyniki analiz dotyczących środkowojurajskich wód geotermalnych na obszarze piaskowcowej facji kompleksu środkowej jury pomiędzy Włoszczową a Myślenicami - jakie zaprezentowano potwierdziły znaczną strefowość i lokalność parametrów zbiornikowych, co wynika z charakteru środowisk sedymentacji tych osadów oraz związek tych parametrów z ogólną miąższością serii środkowojurajskiej. Zaobserwowano silną zależność pomiędzy stopniem mineralizacji wód a odległością od obszarów zasilania i głębokością. Postulowany zachodni kierunek cyrkulacji wód jest zgodny z rozkładem mineralizacji i rozkładem temperatur. W strefach zachodnich najbliższych strefom zasilania, wody są słodkie lub wysłodzone a ich temperatury silnie zdeterminowane wpływem wód przypowierzchniowych.

This paper presents results of analyses of Middle Jurassic geothermal waters linked to a sandstone fades extending between Włoszczowa and Myślenice. The obtained results confirmed considerable zonation and local constraints of reservoir parameters resulting from a character of depositional environments. A relationship between the total thickness of Middle Jurassic formation and the reservoir parameters was noted. Moreover, a strong correlation between the degree of water mineralization and the distance of infiltration zone or depth of water occurrence was observed. The postulated westerly direction of water circulation corresponds to the mineralization and temperature patterns. In the western zones located close to the recharge areas, waters are fresh or nearly fresh and their temperatures are influenced by surface waters.

Przedstawiono wyniki analiz dotyczących wód wgłębnych kompleksu cenomańskiego na obszarze piaskowcowej facji tego kompleksu pomiędzy Jędrzejowem i Myślenicami. Stwierdzono silną i prostą zależność pomiędzy rozkładem miąższości utworów cenomanu a ich parametrami zbiornikowymi, mineralizacją wód i rozkładem ciśnień złożowych. Omówiono niektóre aspekty geotermalnego wykorzystania wód cenomańskich oraz projekty ich zagospodarowania dla celów grzewczych i konsumpcyjnych.

W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań geologicznych dotyczących otworu hydrotermalnego Słomniki GT-1. Odwiert ten udostępnił cenomański horyzont wodonośny dla celów ciepłowniczych i konsumpcyjnych miasta Słomniki. Wiercenie to pozwoliło prześledzić profil litologiczny utworów kredy górnej. Zebrana i oznaczona makro i mikrofauna oraz opisany profil litologiczny umożliwiły określenie wieku przewierconych warstw. Badania mikrofacjalne oraz obserwacje makroskopowe rdzenia umożliwiły poznanie sedymentacji i tektoniki skał górnokredowych tego obszaru.

The results of geological research on a hydrothermal Słomniki GT-1 well are presented in this paper. The well accessed the Cenomanian aquifer for supplying heat and domestic water to the town of Słomniki. This drill enabled the examination of the lithological profile of the sediments of the upper Cretaceous period. The macro and micro fauna collected and described and the described lithological profile have made the determination of the age of the drilled layers possible. Microfacial research and macroscopic analysis of the core have allowed the determination of the sedimentation and tectonics of the upper Cretaceous rocks of the area.

W artykule przedstawiono zwięzłą charakterystykę wyników badań hydrogeotermicznych obszaru Skierniewic oraz dotychczas przeprowadzonych prac geologicznych, geofizycznych i geochemicznych. Skierniewicki system geotermalny jest szczególnie interesujący w aspekcie możliwości wykorzystania energii geotermalnej do produkcji energii elektrycznej podobnie jak to wykazano w rejonie Gross Schoenebeck w Niemczech. Ze stwierdzonego podobieństwa warunków hydrogeotermalnych obu stref wynika możliwość wzajemnej wymiany doświadczeń w ramach prowadzonych badań.

The paper presents short evaluation the results of hydrogeothermal studies in Skierniewice area with the geological and geophysical old-data review. This area is special interesting from point of view the power production on the base geothermal fluids as in Gross Schoenebeck in Germany. The similarity of both above mentioned areas makes possible to exchange of experiences between polish and german scientists.
